Monday was Festivale, so I just had to dance on over to the plaza and talk with Pavé.

He wanted some feathers, of course, so I kept an eye out for them as I played. My villagers were dressed up for the occasion too, and they were so cute! Especially June.

After making my rounds, I turned in my feathers for Festivale items. But the dancing peacock still needed more, so I repeated the process of hunting for feathers.
After I redeemed enough feathers for nine Festivale items, Pavé asked for three rainbow feathers. I already had two of them by that point, and an additional trip around town didn’t yield any more. So I crafted one (using the other feathers) and handed them over for a Festivale float. These things are so cool!

I stopped trading in feathers once I earned that. But before I ended my session, I also spotted the famous (or infamous) Raymond on Forest! However, he wouldn’t even turn to face me as I introduced himself! How rude!

On Tuesday, I ran into a previous villager, Tia the elephant! It’s so good to see her again!

I know the novelty of having tourists around will eventually wear off, but for now, it’s still a thrill to see former villagers and other animals I like. 🙂
On Wednesday, the robotic octopus tourist Cephalobot was enjoying some coffee at the Roost. But he told me something surprising. He claimed Forest coffee has a hint of apple! I hope that’s not true, because it doesn’t necessarily sound very good. 😛

I do like Cephalobot, though, and I wouldn’t mind having him on my island at some point!
On Thursday, I led the tourist Kody (one of my GameCube buddies) to the hotel. That earned me 2,000 Nook Miles for taking my 10th tourist to the hotel. That completed the “Take Tourists to the Hotel” goals for me. That is the first of the three new 3.0 goals that I’ve completed.

Yesterday, I found Pascal while diving. He popped up to tell me that making friends is like making music…wrong notes and all. 🎶

I’ve always thought oarfish were fairly rare…but last night, I caught four of them in a ten-minute span! I was shocked! But I’ll gladly take them. 😆

Tonight, Bones and June joined me for a K.K. Slider performance of “K.K. Ragtime.” I know it as the “knock me up” song, because that’s what part of the chorus sounds like he’s saying. 😆 It’s not a bad song, though.

Here are a few other quick notes about this week:
- On Thursday, I played a treasure hunt game with Static. I won an instant-muscles suit.
- Colton the horse was camping at the campsite, but I didn’t ask him to move in.
- I helped out Gullivarrr find his communicator, and he sent me some pirate pants yesterday.
- Last night, Bones asked me to catch an olive flounder for him. (That’s actually why I was fishing and found all the oarfish I mentioned above.) Once I caught the olive flounder, he gave me a plain do-rag for it.
Yesterday, I posted an updated version of Ultimate Quick Comparisons that compare and contrast the five core Animal Crossing games. It reflects the changes made in ACNH Version 3.0, and of course I’ve added some new comparisons too. Check it out!
