Nicky’s Party

On Wednesday, Gullivarrr sent me another pirate-ship helm in the mail. Not bad.

Yesterday, Agent S urged me to take off her bandages! Well, sort of.

Agent S: I'm really hoping you'll take my head bandages off my hands.
They’re supposed to go on your head, not your hands.

Fortunately, she was just giving me some bandages; they weren’t actually in use at the time. 😂

Last night, I headed over to Nicky’s town for her birthday party. Jesse, Matthew, Jac, and Sam also joined in. Jesse put Nicky’s head on a platter pizza!

Nicky's head on a pizza?

While I was there, I learned that the bug cage is actually a clothes closet!

Heh heh. There's an outfit in here called, Kiki & Lala.

I spotted a buried pitfall that wasn’t mine, but I decided to help lure someone into the trap. I said “Look at this snail!” and Sam came over and fell into it. 😛

Sam fell into a pitfall.

I guess I could consider this revenge for when he pitfalled me in his town last month. 😛

We headed over to Nicky’s house for some cake and photos before Nicky wrapped up the party.

Celebrating Nicky's birthday.

Happy birthday, Nicky!

After completing a few Nook Miles+ achievements tonight, my balance topped two million miles!

Nook Miles: 2,000,030.

The Bug-Off is coming up tomorrow, but I’m not sure if I’ll participate. I think I may sit this one out for a change. But good luck to you all, and I hope you have a great weekend! 🙂

Pascal’s Duck Rant

Yesterday was International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and I was coincidentally dressed for the occasion (thanks to Label’s recent visit). But Animal Crossing’s pirate showed up a day late, as Gullivarrr was on shore today, looking for his communicator. I went diving and promptly found what he was looking for, so he’ll reward me with a gift in the mail tomorrow.

Gullivarrr: Ye saved me life! That's a debt that needs repayin', so I'll ship ye a fine reward soon--expedited! Arrr!

But while I was diving, I caught a scallop. That caused Pascal to pop up and demand it. He also told me some wise words about ducks. 🦆🦆🦆

Pascal: Anyone who tells you to get your ducks in a row has never met a duck. Maaan, they do not follow directions.

I found a lost item (a book) on the ground, and I returned it to its owner, Ketchup. She was glad to have her autograph book back, and she rewarded me with a skateboarding helmet.

Ketchup: BOOM! It's totally a skateboarding helmet!
BOOM? Did it just explode, or what?

I spotted a ghost twice in the past two days: Wisp gave me a porcelain vase on Sunday night, and an evergreen ash tonight.

Today marks two and a half years since the release of New Horizons. As I find myself spending less and less time with the game, I feel it’s time to reduce the frequency of blog entries a bit. (Although I still plan on playing the game daily.) There will now be a minimum of two new entries each week, instead of three.

So I’ll be back later in the week with more. Have a great day!

Her? Stunning Beauty?!

Rio was sick with a cold last night, so I crafted some medicine for her. She thanked me by giving me a bathrobe.

Rio: Thanks to you, Jeff, I'm on the road to no nose gunk.

Ketchup said she recently had a fight with Beardo (who hasn’t?), and she asked me to make a delivery to him. I agreed to help out, so I took him the folk shirt from the red duck. I was happy to see that it looked awful on him. 😂

Beardo: You know, I really let myself get carried away with Ketchup. She can be...a lot.
Yeah, I always pour too much ketchup too.

Beardo rewarded me with a pedal board.

Wisp was in town, and he gave me a brown diner wall after I returned his spirits to him.

Out on Lottie’s Island, I spotted Tabby. Is it Halloween already? She said the island would make a great album cover…including her stunning beauty. That’s no joke, she actually said that! Wow.

Tabby: This place would legit make the best album cover. Bright, sandy beaches... My stunning beauty...

Tonight, K.K. Slider was in town for his Saturday night show. I told him I was feeling a bit blue, and he played Steep Hill for me. That’s one of my favorites!

K.K.: Feeling downbeat, huh? Well, let me lay that beat down, Steep Hill style.

Interestingly enough, the three villagers there with me were blue too. Literally.

See you all next time! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
