Not-So-Lucky Charm

Near my house tonight, I found a four-leaf clover on the ground. I’m not feeling very lucky lately, but maybe this will help.

WAHOO! I got the four-leaf clover!I visited Joey, and he was still sick. He even thinks he can understand what bugs are saying. I gave him medicine once again.

Joey: But, on the upside, I-I can understand what the bugs are saying now.Crazy Redd was in town, and I used the password “just cash” to get inside his tent. But unfortunately, his painting this week was the perfect painting. I already have that one in my museum.

Redd: Yes, yes. Now that there perfect painting is quite the little item. The “Message of the Week” on the bulletin board warned of putting tight pants on too quickly.

*Message of the Week* Put tight pants on slowly. Trust me on this one.I did a little fishing, hoping to find a shark. But no such luck.

I caught a tire!I also decided to shake some trees to see if I found anything good. I ended up finding…some bees.

I got stung by BEES! Ow!To be fair, I also found a fan, a hammock, and 200 bells. But all things considered, I don’t think that four-leaf clover really helped my luck.

Nook & the Twins

Tom Nook had some new dialogue for me in Nookington’s tonight. He was complaining about the twins, Timmy and Tommy, and how they like to test him to see if he can tell them apart.

Tom Nook: Do they honestly think I can't tell the two of them apart, I wonder?Tom Nook: I think it's their way of challenging my intellect... Testing me, hm?But he says he knows a way to tell who is who. Tommy has a mole on his left wrist, and Timmy has a mole on his right wrist. But then he stopped and wondered if he had that reversed. Oops. Maybe he’s not so sure after all.

Tom Nook: Hm? Wait, that is, unless... Maybe I have that reversed, hm?While I was there, I bought some medicine just to have on hand. It didn’t last very long, because I needed it in the the next house I visited. Joey was still sick.

Joey takes his medicine in ACWW.Hopper wanted to hop out of town, but I (eventually) got him to reconsider. I kind of like him, although I’m not sure why.

Hopper: What? Really? Well, maybe I'll reconsider...I caught a rainbow stag on a tree outside, and I sold it for a nice 10,000 bells. Then I almost had another great catch when I saw a shark in the ocean. But sadly, it got away.

At the Roost, I had a request for K.K. Slider.

K.K.: This is far out. Get ready to groove to kill me!He actually couldn’t fulfill my request, so I asked for a random song. He then played K.K. Fusion for me.

I ran into Rod outside, and he showed me a letter he received…about backless suits.

Favorite client Rod, There are plenty of backless dresses. I would like to see a backless suit! -The vagrant couturierI went to town hall and made a 35,000 bell mortgage payment. Unfortunately, I didn’t find any fossils tonight! They must all be in hard-to-see places now. I’ll have to try looking for them another time soon.

Baabara’s Pic

I received an unexpected letter from Lyle in the mail today. He mentioned that I recently got stung by a bee, and he sent me 100 bells (for my pain and suffering, I suppose). I guess that’s nice, but 100 bells is virtually nothing. It would take a lot of bee stings to get my money back from Lyle.

Hey. You. Yeah, Jeff. Stung? By a bee? Lyle can tell! Your face? Gross. Here. The money? Yours. Benefits. Take 'em. BANG! -LyleI visited Joey, and he was clearly still sick…in the head.

Joey: I CAN TASTE THE CLOUDS! DELICIOUS, FLUFFY CLOUDS!I gave him some medicine once again.

Crazy Redd was in town, and he had this perfect painting for sale. He also had a Triforce, but I only bought the painting this time.

Redd: A perfect painting! Cousin, you've got incredible taste! Ol' Redd is in awe!

It cost 3,920 bells, but it was worth it. That’s because it turned out to be a real painting, and I donated it to the museum.

The perfect painting on display at the museum art gallery in Animal Crossing: Wild World.Out in the rain (yes, it was storming again), Baabara pinged me. She surprised me by giving me her picture!

Baabara: It's a picture of me! Do I look good or do I look good, your mom?I didn’t necessarily want her picture, but I’ll take it. It is the fifth villager picture I’ve received so far.

Villager pictures of Chevre, Static, Puddles, Rod, and Baabara. The quote on her picture is “I’m so soft that I don’t even need a pillow!”

"I'm so soft that I don't even need a pillow!"I didn’t make it to the store before it closed tonight, so I was unable to sell my belongings. So I didn’t earn any money other than the money rock and the 100 bells from Lyle.
