Maximum Interest

On Thursday, I received my monthly bank statement from the postal division at town hall. This month, I have finally earned the maximum amount of interest: 99,999 bells! I’ll now be getting this amount every month for the life of my town.

Dear Jeff, Thank you for using your post office bank account. You earned 99,999 bells for 30 days of interest! -Postal division, town hall

Chief asked me if I’ve ever touched a spider. Not on purpose, but yes! Or maybe it’s more accurate to say that the spider touched me. 🕷️

Chief: Hey, sparkles! Ever touched a spider?

Saharah was in town, and she asked me to deliver a rug to Blathers, a carpet to Tom Nook, and some wallpaper to Mabel.

Mabel: Oh! Is that the product I ordered from Saharah?

But as I was in Able Sisters, I noticed that lightning shirt in the background there. I went over to buy it, and I also put it on…even though I’m actually wearing it in City Folk right now too. Unfortunately, the fashion distraction made me forget to return to Saharah for my reward!

Yesterday, Pippy asked me to deliver a letter to Maple. And Maple loved it more than thought was possible! I guess she had maximum interest in it. 😛 She really flipped over it!

Maple: Oh, that was a wonderful letter! It made me so very happy...

When I returned to Pippy and told her the news, she rewarded me with what she called my “favorite:” a cowhide rug. I’m not sure where she’s getting her info, but that’s not my favorite anything. 😛

Today, the Flea Market was underway. I wasn’t interested in buying anything though, so Truffles called me a cheapskate (under her breath).

Truffles: Oh, really... Well, why don't you, like, look around some more? ...What a cheapskate!

You gotta love Flea Market day. It gives you the option to buy your villagers’ junk…or be insulted for not buying it. Your choice.

Marina was sick with a cold today, so I gave her some medicine. Get well soon, Marina!

I went over to the Roost tonight to check out K.K. Slider’s Saturday night show. I asked for a random song, and he performed “K.K. Samba” for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Samba!

After the show, Whitney pinged me and gave me a free gift: a propane stove. But sadly, no propane accessories were included. 😉

Whitney: Here, take my old propane stove as a gift from me to you!

Eau De Gym Shorts

It was raining in town yesterday, and Marina told me how much she loves the rain. It’s very understandable, considering she’s a marine animal.

Marina: I love that quiet time when all I can hear is the sound of raindrops...blurp.

I also listened in on a conversation between Frobert and Marina, but I might wish I hadn’t. Frobert told Whitney about his new cologne called Eau De Gym Shorts. 🤢

Frobert: Yo, Whitney! Want a free whiff of my new cologne, Eau De Gym Shorts?

But this conversation was unique in that Whitney didn’t say a word! She just did the wind-blowing emotion, and she was speechless!

Whitney: ...

She just walked away without saying a word! That was pretty cool to see a conversation cut off like that. But really though, Frobert deserved it.

Today, I spotted a UFO flying over Forest!

A UFO flies overhead in Animal Crossing: Wild World.

I used my slingshot to shoot it down, and Gulliver asked me to collect the pieces of his spaceship.

Gulliver: I believe the parts of my spaceship are scattered throughout your town.

Frobert was out for a walk, seemingly oblivious to the crashed UFO behind him. 😆

Frobert, next to a crashed UFO: I read somewhere that even strolling around like this can be good for you.

After I retrieved the five UFO parts, Gulliver thanked me by giving me another pagoda. It’s the same reward he gave me last time.

Pippy asked me to deliver a gift to Maple, and the gift was a heart shirt. Maple was surprisingly ecstatic to get the shirt, even saying that she’s wanted one her entire life! 😮

Maple: Woo hoo! Yes! YEEEEES! All my life I've been wanting a heart shirt!
She was so happy! It was so cute!

When I returned to Pippy, she rewarded me with some cabana flooring.

I earned enough bells to boost my savings account balance to a nice, round 20 million bells!

Pelly: The current bell balance is 20,000,000.

See you all next week!

Truffles’s Pic

On Wednesday, Whitney went up to Frobert and told him to watch, because she was going to dance!

Whitney: Hey, check it out, Frobert! I'm...gonna dance!

Whitney did some emotions and said “Woot! Woot!” repeatedly, but Frobert was not impressed. 😆

Frobert: What! You call that dancing? You're not engaging any of your core muscle groups.

Frobert then decided to show off his dance moves, which he called “the Wrassle.” It too involved emotions, but he said “fribbit” instead of “woot.”

Frobert: Lemme show your some REAL moves! This is a dance I like to call "the Wrassle."

Whitney tried to imitate him, but it didn’t go well. Neither of them were impressed with the other. I guess the Forest Dance-Off was not a big success. 😛

Yesterday, Chief got himself worked up for no apparent reason. (What’s new?)

Chief: For soup's sake, kid! Do you think I'm just walking around for the fun of it?

He said he’s crazy like a shark, and that he’ll be “dead meat” if he doesn’t stop moving. I have no idea what he meant by any of this.

Chief: I'm crazy like a shark! If I don't stop movin', I'm dead meat, on a pig!

Today, Maple told me that every type of flower has a meaning. For example, cherry blossoms symbolize…deliciousness?

Maple: Have you ever seen cherry blossoms? Do you want to know what they symbolize?
Maple: I'm not entirely sure, myself, but I think they symbolize deliciousness.

She said that’s because she loves the taste of fresh-picked cherries. If you say so, Maple.

Over by Able Sisters, Truffles surprised me by giving me her picture!

Truffles: Here, snoutie! It's a picture! Of ME! Isn't it just the cutest EVER?!
Well, no, but thank you anyway!

I took the photo home and displayed it in my Gulliver item room. I had to move Caroline’s pic to storage to make space, though.

Truffles's pic on display in my house. Marina's pic and Mitzi's pic are also visible.

Her favorite quote was on the back, in all caps: “JUMPING JELLY BEANS!”

Saharah was in town, and she had me delivering a carpet to Blathers and wallpaper to Pelly. Saharah then rewarded me with a western vista (wallpaper).

Earlier today, I posted my latest Wild World video. It covers the Flower Fest and several of the weeks following. I hope you’ll check it out!
