Guardian Fossil

On Monday, Phyllis continued to insult Pelly’s writing, calling it melodramatic.

Phyllis: It's all, Oh, suffocated love! I pine for you, but my scream is silent!

On Wednesday, Olivia asked me for some new clothes. I handed her an airy shirt that I just pulled out of the lost and found. In return, she gave me a li’l bro’s hat (Luigi’s hat).

Olivia: Please take my li'l bro's hat!
What if your li’l bro needs it?

I decided to put it on and wear it for a while. But if Olivia’s li’l bro shows up and asks for it, I’ll give it back. 😉

Speaking of hats, Phyllis said that Pete’s hat was stupid. 😂 I’ve heard her call Pete stupid before, but the part about the hat just makes the insult even funnier. 😛

Phyllis: I can't just let her fall for some stupid boy... (His hat is stupid, too!)

Yesterday, I fulfilled Butch’s first request: He wanted a fossil, so I gave him an apato torso that I dug up. In return, he gave me some birch flooring.

Today, Butch was at home, so I got to see the inside of his house for the first time. He was happy with his new fossil, saying it guards his room.

Butch: It's a good thing I've got a fearsome fossil guarding my room.

He said it scares away all the annoyingly happy people in town. 😂

Butch: It scares away all the annoyingly happy people in this town.

That made me realize that I haven’t posted a picture of Goose’s house yet either. So here it is.

Goose's house in Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Ehhh. I prefer Butch’s house.

Peanut has still been sick lately, and I gave her more medicine a few times this week. By today, she was finally over her cold. She thanked me for all the medicine by giving me a regal carpet.

If you haven’t yet seen my latest Wild World video, here it is: Episode 47.

See you all next time!

Butch Moves In!

Yesterday, I received Roscoe’s goodbye letter in the mail.

It's good-bye, Jeff, Hey, I moved! Yeah, sorry for not telling you where I'm going, but you'll just cry or something. Free at last, Roscoe

Hugh asked me if I liked Pelly or Phyllis better. I told him I prefer Pelly, and he told me that his preferences is…bananas. 🙄

Hugh: It is most decidedly... bananas, snortle!
You are bananas. 😛

There was a spotlight product at Nookington’s, and it was an Arwing (the spaceship from Star Fox). It was 5,760 bells, and I bought it; it’s a pretty cool item!

Bob wanted to compete to see who could catch a sea bass first. I caught one pretty quickly, and I took it back to him. He gave me a ranch couch as my prize for winning.

At town hall, Phyllis told me that Pelly has been creative lately, spending a lot of time writing. Pelly shows Phyllis her essays and poems, but Phyllis doesn’t like the stuff. She says it’s too sentimental. Somehow I’m not surprised that Phyllis doesn’t “get it.” 😛

Phyllis: Honestly, I really don't get her stuff at all. (It's way too sentimental.)

Peanut has still been sick with a cold, so I gave her some more medicine yesterday and then again today.

Pascal was standing on the shore today, and he told me that lifeguards are always mistaking him for a shark! 🦈

Pascal: Lifeguards, maaannn. They're always pointing at me and screaming, SHARK!

He then gave me a ship cannon before diving into the ocean and swimming away.

There was a new house for Roscoe’s replacement today, and I was thrilled to find Butch inside! He’s one of my favorite dogs in the whole series!

Butch: My name is Butch. Well, nice to meet you, ROOOOOWF!

At town hall, Phyllis had some more dialogue. She was talking about the “Talking to Myself” posts on the bulletin board: She said the reason people are talking to themselves is because they’re saying things that should be kept secret.

Phyllis: I mean, really! If you want people to hear you so badly, just say it already!

So it sounded like she was criticizing the author of those posts, which makes it seem like Pelly (not Phyllis) is the one that writes them. Especially since this dialogue comes the day after discussing the fact that Pelly is the one who has a creative side when it comes to writing. Interesting.

I then returned home to take a look at my Arwing and ship cannon. They’re both large items, but I was disappointed that the cannon doesn’t actually fire. 😛

My new Arwing and ship cannon items.

And now I want to make a room with Pascal’s items. 😛 Unfortunately, I don’t have them all yet, so the cannon is going into storage for now.

See you next time!

Go, Roscoe!

On Wednesday, I was caught off guard when I walked into Peanut’s house. She thanked me for coming…that meant it was her birthday, and I completely forgot! 😮

Peanut: Oh, it's sunshine! Yaaaaay! You came!

I didn’t have any furniture to give her as a present, so I was a bit worried. But I did have an eel I just caught, so I gave her that. I was very relieved when she seemed to like the slippery gift.

Peanut: Sunshine, how'd you know I really wanted an eel?!

So she thanked me by giving me a cow skull. Wait, was she being sarcastic about wanting the eel?? 😛

Tonight, a flying saucer flew overhead! I was ready for it, and I promptly shot it down. Gulliver was surprisingly happy to see me. 😛

Gulliver: Are you surprised? So am I! It's a rare treat to meet a being from another planet!

He asked me to gather up his UFO parts for him, and of course I did. In return, he gave me some chocolates. Unfortunately, that’s another duplicate item that I’ve already earned before. 🍫

Peanut was sick with a cold today, so I gave her some medicine. Get well soon, Peanut!

Roscoe was all packed up and ready to move away…

Roscoe: Hey, sunshine. I wasn't gonna tell anyone, but... I'm leaving Forest.

…and I decided to let him go. I don’t dislike him or anything (and I’ve actually saved him from moving a couple times before, though I may not have mentioned it in the blog). But I wouldn’t mind getting another new villager in town, so Roscoe can gallop off into the sunset. He had a good seven months in Forest, and that was long enough for me. 😛

Later, I found a free ranch couch in the recycle bin at town hall.
