Flea Fashion

Curt complimented me on my house Wednesday, saying it was really impressive. He said the only thing I’m missing is a giant yard gnome.

Curt: If only you had a giant lawn gnome, your house would be complete!

I caught a flea that was on Robin, and she had an unusual reaction. She said that everyone has fleas…

Robin: Oh, thanks, la-di-da. What? Fleas? Everyone's got fleas! La-di-da!

…and she even said they’re a must-have accessory this season! 😆

Robin: Ms. Nintendique even says that they're this season's must-have accessory!
That’s the latest fashion trend? I’m not itching to join in.

I shot down a balloon present and found a free propane stove inside! That’s a hot deal! (But where can I buy some propane and propane accessories?)

Tonight, I ran into Tank close to the beach. He warned me not to pick up his shells.

Tank: Listen up, bunny! Don't you DARE go picking up my shells, a'ight?
Today I learned that “a’ight” is canonically in Animal Crossing.

He said that’s how he makes ends meet. And yet I’ve never seen him pick up a single shell. 🐚

Tank: this is how I make ends meet, snappy!

Tank may view that strategy as a “shore thing,” but I think it would only work at a snail’s pace. Well, good luck with that, Tank.

A new message posted to the bulletin board appears to have been posted by Pete! Instead of the usual “Talking to Myself” heading, this one says “Talking to Pete’s Self.”

Whitney asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “snappy.” I wanted to tell her to say “at the moon,” but that wouldn’t fit. So I went with “all night.” She then asked if I like to go out and catch bugs, and I said no (just to see how she responded). She replied by saying she had no idea why she was even holding a net!

Whitney: I know what you mean. I have no idea why I'm holding a net...

She even said that she sometimes forgets what she is doing…which she blames on her ex. 😆

Whitney: Sometimes I forget who I am and what I'm doing.
Whitney: But this, too, is my ex's fault, all night.

On that note, I’m going to wrap up this week’s entry. Have a great weekend, everyone!
