Pascal was in town on Wednesday, and he told me that mackerel is not so holy after all. 😛
He then gave me a ship compass before plunging into the sea. I’ll probably hang onto it for the next birthday party that comes up.
Over by the shops, Truffles asked me to buy her parquet floor at a 30% discount (for a price of 2,330 bells). I declined, and she then offered me a 100% discount. Now that’s a discount I can’t pass up!
She then suddenly realized that a 100% discount meant that she was giving it to me for free. Oops, I thought she knew that already. 😛 But fortunately, she didn’t try to take it back.
On Thursday, Pippy told me that she can catch fish just by giving them the evil eye! 👀
To prove it, she wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a black bass first. However, I beat out her evil eye and gave her the fish before she had the chance to stare one down. So she rewarded me with an ornate wall.
Today, Pippy referenced that fish I caught for her. She said it was nice to live this way, surrounded by fish…in a pond.
Drift’s sickness has continued into its third week, and I gave him more medicine Wednesday and Thursday. But by today, he was finally over his cold. He thanked me for all the medicine by giving me a plush carpet.
Over at town hall, I found a Mrs. Flamingo in the recycle bin. 🦩
I’m not sure who threw her away, or where her husband is…but either way, it looks like Mrs. Flamingo got dumped.
