Unusual Pizza Toppings

On Wednesday, I spotted a banded dragonfly, and I chased it all across town. After several trips back and forth across the river, I eventually lost it. But as I chatted with Drift, I saw it sitting there on a rock! But it then took off and disappeared for good. If only I hadn’t spoken to Drift so quickly, I might’ve been able to snag it pretty easily.

Yesterday, Pippy gave me a gift that she said was perfect for me: a surfboard. 🏄‍♂️ I’m shore she meant well, but it’s probably not something I’ll use…unless I can use it to surf the web. 😛

Pippy: Here ya go, in a pond! You're meant to have my surfboard!

Just a few steps away, Robin had fleas on her. I caught one of them, and Robin told me that everybody has fleas…on a pizza! 🍕

Robin: Oh, thanks, on a pizza. What? Fleas? Everyone's got fleas! On a pizza!
Worst pizza topping idea ever.

Wendell was in town, and I caught a catfish to give him. In return, he gave me the “overhead view A” pattern, which is another piece of the Nazca lines. I now have two of the four pieces needed for it.

The overhead view A pattern from Wendell, which forms part of the Nazca lines.

If I think of it, I should try to catch the other two fish I need while they’re still in season. And I could keep them in my house until Wendell visits again.

Today, I spotted an unusually large fish shadow in the river, and I fished out a dorado!

Whoa! A golden fish...!?

Robin continued to use her catchphrase in weird ways, this time saying that flowers are like women, on a pizza.

Robin: Flowers are kinda like women, on a pizza.
To make sense of this, we might knead more context.

The whole “women on pizza” topic reminded me of a funny mistake from another game (Harvest Moon 64):

Elli, in Harvest Moon 64: Flowers have man as cake decorations.

Anyway, I spotted another banded dragonfly right after chatting with Robin. So I got my net out and started to chase it. I briefly lost it, and then ran around the outside of the shop. As I turned back to where I started from, I saw it flying right towards me! I swung my net and caught it! Robin walked closer to me, and once she saw, she started applauding (with one hand, because she was holding a net in the other hand). 😆

Did you see that? Did ya? I caught the elusive banded dragonfly!

Katrina was in town, so I popped into her tent to hear my fortune. She started talking about inverted bread, beetles scurrying around, and a hungry boar that ate too much. Is this about Truffles?

Katrina: A hungry wild boar seems to have overindulged...

I honestly had no clue what the fortune was supposed to be telling me. I assumed it had no effect…until I started falling on my face, this is. Then, I kinda knew.

Falling on my face, nearly slamming my head into a tree, in Animal Crossing: Wild World (ACWW).

In that respect, I was having bad luck. But on the other hand, I did already catch a rare fish and a rare bug. And they helped my savings reach another milestone, with my balance reaching 17 million bells.

Pelly: The current bell balance is 17,000,000.

Earlier this week, I posted my latest Wild World video episode, #79. Please check it out if you haven’t seen it yet.

See you next week!
