On Wednesday, I found Pascal standing near the shore. I spoke with him, and he told me that albatrosses aren’t so bad once you get to know them.
He then gave me some sea view wallpaper before plunging into the sea.
A message posted to the bulletin board gave tips on how to make food look more appealing. Although the tips aren’t exactly earth-shattering news. đ
Yesterday, Truffles told me how excited she is for the fireworks festival. But she wasn’t sure that she could stay awake long enough, so she wondered if she should take a “disco nap” first. đĒŠ
Today, I met up with Truffles again outside of town hall. She started to tell me something about Pelly and Phyllis…
But she caught herself before revealing a “scorching secret.” And she blamed me for her almost spilling the beans! I didn’t say a thing.
Truffles stomped over to the museum, where she met up with Whitney. Truffles (falsely) claimed that she was voted the most popular girl in Forest. Yeah, as if Whitney is going to believe that one. (Maybe when pigs fly.)
But Whitney didn’t go that direction. Instead, she told Truffles that when you’re really popular, you’re also really despised. đ
So Whitney convinced Truffles that she has to make people despise her, in order to get them to really like her. These conversations are so crazy sometimes. đ¤Ē
Caroline is the latest villager to catch a cold, so I gave her some medicine yesterday and again today. Get well soon, Caroline!
