On Thursday, I received my monthly bank statement in the mail. I earned 85,400 bells in interest this month.
Robin showed me a letter she received, and it tells how to avoid looking like a fool. 😆
Wendell was in town, and that reminded me that I still need two fish for the patterns I wanted from him. Unfortunately, one of them (the giant snakehead) is already out of season. But I went fishing to look for the other one, a gar. But after 40 minutes of searching, I never found one. However, I did catch a dorado and two arapaimas (among other fish), so it wasn’t a total loss.
Yesterday, Filbert asked me for a new catchphrase, as he had a flea on him. So I told him to say “with legs,” and then I caught his flea for him. The new phrase has resulted in some absurd statements from him already, and I’m looking forward to hearing more. 😆
Drift came down with a cold yesterday; he has a frog in his throat. 🐸 So I gave him some medicine yesterday, and again today. Get well soon, Drift!
Today was Flea Market day. Curt said he doesn’t know anything about flea markets, but he said leftovers always sound good to him. 😛
When I visited Pippy’s house (or…shop), she wanted me to buy something from her. She didn’t want to sell her fish though, so I ended up buying her sprinkler for 590 bells.
I ran into Robin outside, and she said there’s something about used furniture that’s so warm. Maybe because somebody was just sitting in it. 😛
I decided to buy something from Filbert, but almost everything I asked about, he didn’t want to sell! But he eventually relented and let me buy his fern fossil for 1,000 bells.
