Saharah was in town tonight, and of course, she had problems.

She forgot her map, so she needed me to make her deliveries for her. I took a rug to Tom Nook and a carpet to someone at the museum. (Want to guess hoo? It was Blathers.)

When I returned to Saharah, she rewarded me with a boxing ring mat.

The fireworks festival is coming up tomorrow night, and Maple asked me to go with her!

I don’t plan on playing tomorrow, but I feel honored to have been invited to go with Maple. Such a cute bit of dialogue! 🥰

Sometimes I’ll see a mosquito buzzing around when I’m about to try for the daily money rock. But I’ve learned that it’s better to let it bite you before you start, than to be interrupted halfway. That’s also true of catching fish.

To my surprise, Angus was all packed up and ready to move out of town! But even though he’s not exactly my favorite animal, one week is much too short of a stay for almost any villager. So I tried talking him out of it, but he was being bull-headed about it.

But after ten tries, he finally relented. Hurray! Now let’s celebrate with some burgers.

I’m not sure he was worth that much effort, but oh well. I probably won’t go to that much trouble next time, though.

Shortly after that, I checked the shop and town hall briefly before wrapping up my game for the night. If you’re playing tomorrow, enjoy the fireworks!

Yesterday (July 31st), Derwin asked me what was up with Angus and Marina. Wait…who?

And that’s how I learned that Angus has moved into town. 😛 So a few minutes later, I went over to introduce myself. He lives in the spot just south of Whitney’s house (where Caroline used to live).

I’m not a big fan of Angus, but I guess he’s alright. Better than Truffles, I suppose. 😛

Tonight, the first fireworks festival of the year was held. There will be five of them again this year, so there are still four more if you missed tonight. 🎆

Pippy was so excited about the fireworks that she was “shouting like a crazy person.” 😆

I also had a chat with Tortimer outside of town hall. He told me that Forest’s fireworks are the best around!

He handed me a Roman candle, which I used right away. Fun!

Whitney said that the fireworks seemed especially powerful this year, and she wants to be strong and beautiful just like them.

Unfortunately, she has copied Frobert’s catchphrase. It’s hard to take anyone seriously when they’re ending each sentence with “fribbit.” 😆

After making my rounds, I went down to the Roost for K.K. Slider’s Saturday night concert. I didn’t have any requests, so he performed “Only Me” for me. Good song. 👍

At town hall, I found a hammock in the recycle bin. I’m not sure who threw it out, but it’s mine now! The hammock can’t hang with them any more. 😛
