First Peach

Yesterday, Peanut was telling me about La-Di-Day, which is coming up on Saturday. But she was using some alliteration, repeating the “P” sound to make a particularly powerful proclamation. 😉

Peanut: As Forest's reigning pop princess, people expect perky perfection.

Nookington’s had a spotlight product, a blue dresser. I didn’t have that one in my catalog, so I bought it for 1,680 bells.

Tommy: You have a keen eye! That's our spotlight product...the blue dresser!

When I visited Butch, he asked me if he was more of a bell pepper or chili pepper. I moved the slider slightly towards chili pepper, and Butch laughed at how wrong I was.

Butch: Chili Pepper Butch... Oh, man... It's almost funny how wrong you always are!
I disagree.

Today, Mom sent me a letter with a foreign fruit attached: It was a peach!

Dear Jeff, Whenever I eat a piece of fruit, I think of you. That crunchy sound you made with every bite. I miss your crunch. -Mom

That was my first peach, so I chopped down an orange tree near my house and buried the peach in the same spot. Once it grows, I will have all of the fruits except cherries.

I spoke with Bob near town hall, and he told me that he recently saw a seagull wearing a spacesuit! That’s Gulliver, of course. I’m just surprised that he’s talking about Gulliver when it’s not a UFO day (Dr. Shrunk was in town instead).

Bob: I wonder if he's just some weird dude who likes to pretend he's an astronaut?

I didn’t even bother speaking with Dr. Shrunk this time. He’s not one of my favorite visitors.

I’ll see you all next week with another entry! 🙂

In a Can

On Wednesday night, I wished on a shooting star. Yesterday, I received a letter from Wishy, telling me that he has granted my wish. The attached item was a skeleton. 💀

Bones asked me for a new catchphrase to replace “nutty,” so I told him to say “in a can” instead. He then told me that he doesn’t like green peppers in a can. 😉

Bones: I love green peppers not... in a can.

Wendell was in town, and I wanted to get another piece of the Nazca Lines pattern. But unfortunately, the three fish I need for those are out of season right now.

So I just caught a random fish (a bitterling) and gave that to Wendell. I had to choose a spot for it, and I chose to replace the “road 1 pattern.” I don’t plan on using the road paths anyway. But I was a bit surprised when Wendell gave me…a road 1 pattern! I replaced it with itself. 😛

Wendell: Oh, so very happy! Suh-soo very gratified! Road 1 pattern!

Tonight, Bob and Mitzi had a cat fight, and they were both walking around depressed. I hate seeing some of my favorite cats feeling so down. 🙁

Bob: Sight... It's so depressing, I really don't want to talk about it tonight.

Goose gave me a racer shirt, and I decided to put it on. But I’m still wearing my pirate hat and hockey mask too, so I probably look a bit confused. 😛

I recently uploaded my latest Wild World video, episode #51. Please check it out!

Bed Sale

Yesterday, Saharah was in town…and I was determined not to neglect her this time around like I did last time. 😛 So I started out by delivering some wallpaper to Mabel. But while I was in Able Sisters, I saw that they were selling a pirate’s hat and a hockey mask. I know it’s not Halloween or anything, but I decided to buy them both anyway. 😆

Mabel: Wow! You are looking really good! I mean it!

I also stopped at Beddington’s…I mean Nookington’s. They had three beds on sale today: a basic yellow bed, a basic blue bed, and a cabin bed!

When I returned to Saharah, she asked me to deliver some wallpaper to Pelly, and then some carpeting to Tom Nook. Once I was done, Saharah offered me a blue tarp or a daisy meadow.

Saharah: Do you want a blue tarp or a daisy meadow?

Since I’ve already got the daisy meadow from her before, I chose the blue tarp this time.

I ran into Goose outside, and he was criticizing the falling snow, saying it was lazy…and disgusting.

Goose: Snow is so lazy! It's disgusting! Look at it, loafin' around like that!

But then he really got offensive, by saying that the lazy snow reminds him of me! 😮

Goose: Kinda reminds me of you, nutty!

Don’t mess with me when I’m wearing this mask, Mr. Chicken. I may slice you up and serve you for dinner!

When I ran into Wolfgang, he was bragging about how stinky he was today! He said it was because he’s been eating liver and onions.

Wolfgang: Whaaa?! But I've been snacking on liver and onions all day, nutty!

Butch is still sick this week, so I gave him some more medicine yesterday, and then again today. Get well soon, doggo!

The year is almost over, and I posted a video taking a look at my 2022 in all five main Animal Crossing games. Please give it a watch if you’re so inclined:

Have a safe and happy new year, everyone! 🥂
