Victoria the horse was camping in Forest today.
Aurora asked me to play hide and seek, so I had ten minutes to find her, Tia, and Skye. It took me nearly five minutes to find any of them, when I found Tia hiding behind my zen bell.
Soon after, I found Aurora behind a tree and Skye down on the beach.
For winning the game, Aurora gave me some kitchen flooring. While I had been searching for them all, I found a lost item. It didn’t belong to any of the three hiders, but I soon found out it belonged to Rolf. After I gave it to him, he rewarded me with a stripe TV. What other kind of TV would a tiger have?
There was a notice posted on the bulletin board about Weeding Day, which is coming up on April 25th. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I got another ice cream cone from Ian. This time, it’s a swirl soft-serve. It looks good, so I’ll be sure not to eat it. Funny how that works.
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Hazael, Rae, and David from Dretpy came to visit. We did the tree stump glitch and…hey, where’d that snowflake come from?
We had some bonding time…and time to water the holes?
Before too long, I had to free us all. Someone had B.O.!
It was me.
We then hung out in my house.
In my back room, Rae started noticing the dead bodies of some of my former villagers Tabby, Katt, and others. Then she started questioning me on my whereabouts! I told her, all the deaths were accidents!
She started asking too many questions. So by 10:30 or so, she disappeared herself. I’m sure it was an accident. Or she had to go. One or the other. 😛 A bit later, Tiffiny came over to take her spot. After stopping in the Roost to get some coffee, we went out to the island for some tours. We started out with a shark-catching tour.
Next, we did an item-matching tour and a labyrinth maze. Instead of us each looking for our individual fruit for the labyrinth tour, I told everyone to bring all the fruit back to the starting point. That strategy worked great; we got a quick, easy gold medal. It’s so much easier that way.
We actually did about five different tours, I believe. It’s rare to do that many since usually someone has to leave after two or three, but it was nice to play a variety of tours this time. One of them was a scavenger hunt. Hazael didn’t understand it at first, so he was running a bit behind the rest of us.
So when three of us finished, I saw Tiffiny getting an axe from Lloid and starting cutting trees down. I decided to do the same. Helping someone out in a scavenger hunt seems to backfire sometimes, because it takes longer to type everything out than it does to look in each house. So Tiffiny and I just cut trees down until Hazael finished. As he did, a tree fell on my head. I think Tiffiny tried to kill me.
After that, we returned to Forest and started swimming and diving.
Unfortunately, we got disconnected after just a few minutes of swimming. Since it was close to midnight anyway, I decided not to reopen. But thanks for a good time Rae, David, Hazael, and Tiffiny! Have a great weekend, everyone!
Not much else was going on in Forest early in the day. Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Natalie from Natly was my most recent dream visitor. But later on tonight, I went to Tiffiny’s town Auctus to sell her some purple roses. But I also wanted to visit my former resident Tammy. Even though I stopped to sit down for a minute, I wasn’t aboot to leave without seeing her.
But mystery was afoot, because Tammy wasn’t at her house.
Not only does Tiffiny have a pattern of her villagers outside their house, but she surrounds their houses with roses that match the color of their roof!
After I talked to her a few times, I tried to leave. However, I went the wrong way and actually circled around and ran into her again! In one of the other rooms, I saw Bob. He says he couldn’t imagine eating the fish in there, but that innocent act wasn’t fooling me! I know him too well.
I also checked out Tiffiny’s house. I like how she used those large bookcases to make a narrow doorway.
Her house is really nice.
She even has a self-portrait in one of her rooms.
After touring her house, I returned home to Forest.
As the clock struck midnight, we stood by the modern clock to watch it light up.
She threatened me with a hammer, only to find she didn’t have her hammer with her. But I picked mine up and put it to good use.
We took a break to sit at the town tree, and we found out she was my 301st visitor.
I dropped the hammer back on the ground…but she picked it up and started chasing me! Thankfully her aim is bad; she ended up hitting the tree instead of me. But she chased me on the beach, and I stopped to hide behind a tree. But she saw right through my clever disguise, so I had to run once again.
She eventually gave up looking for me and decided to do unspeakable things to my house. I won’t tell you what she did, but let’s just say I had to air it out afterwards!
Tom’s Re-Tail had a premium on perfect peaches today, so he invited me over to sell my peaches. I had 37 of them and I sold them for a total of 222,000 bells.
Kippei also came over to Tom’s town. Tom said he saw a lost item earlier in the day, but he couldn’t find it again.
Tom didn’t stay on long, and I returned to Forest. Nan asked me to make a delivery to Molly…who was standing right next to us.
So I made the not-so-long walk to Molly and gave her the item. She didn’t open up the package, so I don’t know what it was. But she gave me a telescope for my “trouble.” Yeah, now you give me a telescope now that I already missed the blood moon!
Later, Kim came over to sell turnips. She was wearing a cow shirt, and I gave her a cat cap that I bought at Able’s for catalog purposes. So she was half cow, half cat.
She let me catalog the campus set, which is Japanese DLC. It’s furniture that looks like notebook paper, pencils, etc. Here’s a look at the bed and floor. The items can be ordered, but they cost a whopping 23,760 bells. Thanks, Kim!
I don’t recommend sleeping on the bed, unless you’re okay with waking up to paper cuts all over your body.
