Today was the day of the fishing tournament, and I wasn’t really planning on participating this time. But Tom messaged me and said he wanted to attend my trophy ceremony, so I opened my gate with about six minutes to go before the tourney ended.
I started looking for big fish, and I caught a 37.35 inch sea bass. I gave it to Chip, and to my surprise, I had taken over the lead! On my first fish! Chip rewarded me with a karaoke system.
I tried to catch another fish to give him, in hopes of scoring some more fish furniture. I caught an oarfish right as the clock struck 6:00, so it was too late to give it to Chip.
But still, I won the tournament. Tom went in the tent to witness the ceremony with me; you can see him standing next to Tia. Nan got second place and Agent S got third place.
Another interesting tidbit: This tournament would have been easy to win regardless. The fish caught by Nan and Agent S were both around three inches! So practically anything would have beaten them this time.
Later, I spoke with Gala, and she told me she had a dream of Ben from Ben Land.
When I checked at the Dream Suite though, Luna told me Xavi from Firetown was my most recent dream visitor.
Once 8:00 rolled around, I went up to Club LOL to catch K.K.’s performance. I let him pick a song, and he played K.K. Chorale for me.
The QR Codes page has been updated with some new codes to scan. Lexy has submitted two great dresses, and I also added the following patterns from T. Zelda: A Wind Waker Zelda dress, a pink Zelda tree pattern, and a Baby Peach design.
Tom was dressed as Samus Aran, and he tried sneezing on us. However, he clearly forgot his helmet would catch anything that flew out of his nose or mouth. Meanwhile, T. Zelda fell in a pitfall while she was walking to see Gala.
It was a pretty, clear night in Forest.
And of course, we did some stump glitching.
We went to my house, and T. Zelda didn’t care for my picture of a clown.
Tom left around 11:00, but I continued showing T. Zelda my house. I turned on my snow machine and told T. Zelda it was my dandruff machine. But she turned it off; she had no interest in using it.
We went up to Club LOL and danced for a while.
Aurora was also in there, enjoying the music with us.
Around 11:40, Jessica came over to visit just as T. Zelda was leaving.
Jessica and I went out to the island for some tours. I kicked her butt last time, so she wanted revenge. We started out with a dragonfly tour, and she beat me by one dragonfly. But only because she snatched one right out of my net! Where’s Copper when you need him, because I was robbed! 😛
Jessica chose a dinosaur fossil tour, and believe it or not, I’ve never played it before! We both had to speak with Tortimer to check out how it works.
I still didn’t quite understand it until I checked out the sample houses. But that lost time at the beginning really hurt. I found a couple of the correct fossils and put them in place, but we didn’t even come close to completing the tour. Fail.
Over by my fountain, Big Top told me that Wendy from Oakville is a heck of a stump maker. That sounds painful! I’ll take your word for it, Big Top.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Enzo from Kount was my most recent dream visitor. And at the Emporium, I saw Katt’s “purrty” face on the second floor.
And today is the last day of the cherry blossom petals, so Big Top was out enjoying them for the last time.
And later on, Jessica asked if she could come over to collect signatures for a petition. So I opened my gate, and she came over wearing a baseball uniform. Not many people wear the baseball uniform, but I think it looks good.
As she collected her signatures, she pointed out how my animals live in communities. There are basically three neighborhoods, each with 3-4 houses. (You can see my map on my
