This morning, Joan was selling turnips for 110 bells each. That’s a little high, but I still bought 1,000 of them.
Playing with a bunch of people on Wi-Fi yesterday seems to have come back to haunt me. I saw a new house plot, and that means one of my visitors yesterday must have given me one of their rejects.
Did I want a new house plot?
Oh no no, I sure did not!
Turns out it’s Gala the pig! I don’t want her in my town, especially taking up my 10th spot! I’m the mayor here, and I’ll make sure she ends up like this! How would that be for a plot twist?
Gala is moving in almost exactly in the same spot that Teddy moved out of recently. It’s only one space to the left; you can still see the dirt patch that Teddy’s house left behind.
In the northern section of town, I spotted something curious: A new, small pink tree! I didn’t plant it, so it must have been one of my visitors yesterday! I’m guessing it was Rodney, but I’m not 100% sure. I’m not mad about it or anything, but still, I’d rather people ask before they do something like planting a tree in my town.
There was a tent over at the campsite today. “Great,” I thought. Just as I got a new villager forced on me, so I don’t have a free spot to ask them in. But the good news is that the animal inside isn’t one I would have wanted anyway: Deli the monkey. He wanted to play a game to determine how much he would pay for my Manneken Pis. I agreed to play, and he said I had to guess what he wanted to eat. He told me the color of the fruit is not red. Duh. It’s obviously got to be a banana! He gave me the options, and banana was my choice.
Naturally, it was correct, and he paid me 6,206 bells for my peeing statue.
When I left the tent, I soon figured out that I was having a bad luck day.
I kept falling on my face. Ugh.
I took the boat out to the island, and Kapp’n was tooting his own horn.
The gift shop there didn’t have anything I wanted, so I quickly returned to the mainland. I made a new pattern that fans of “Don’t Hug Me, I’m Scared” may recognize. This may refresh your memory: “I might paint a picture of a clown.” “Whoa there, friend, you might need to slow down.”
If you’d like this pattern for yourself, it’s available to scan on the QR Codes page.
While I was there, he let me check his turnip prices. His Re-Tail was buying turnips for 107 bells. That was much better than the 44 bells my Re-Tail was paying, so I sold all I had. After that, he let me check out his house. I wanted to eat it.
His house is still small, but I like it.
I then returned to Forest, where Luna told me Aiden from Rome was my most recent dream visitor. A bit later, Twilight wanted to test her connection. So I opened my gate and she was able to visit without any trouble. That’s always a good thing.
Later tonight, I went up to Club LOL to watch K.K.’s performance; he played K.K. Mambo for me.
Tiffiny also came over to pick up some items I had for her. I asked if everyone wanted to go out to the island, but Wendy’s battery light was flashing, so she had to leave to charge her 3DS. The rest of us went out to the island and did some tours. The first one was an official balloon-popping tour.
Rodney then picked a diving tour. We all made our first catch at the same time:
And we finished up with a fishing tour. We then returned to shore and I ended the session. I went to my house to take a look at the hibiscus, but as I was moving it, Agent S barged in.
I just sat on the sofa until she left. The animals have bad timing sometimes. Can you imagine this happening in real life? I wanted to talk to the mayor, so I just went in his house.
My day wasn’t done yet, however. I had a hair-bow wig for Georgie, so she opened up her gate for me.
She tried it on, while I freaked her out by eating a famous mushroom I found in my town the other day.
She apparently hadn’t eaten one before, because she was quite surprised at the result. It’s always fun using them when people aren’t expecting it. 😀
I ran into Rolf again up in the Emporium. He told me there isn’t an animal out there that doesn’t like working in the dirt.
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Kimbo from Rag Town was my most recent dream visitor. When I returned to town, Big Top was sitting on my metal bench. He invited me to sit next to him.
I joined him, but only for a minute.
Tom invited me to his town. He wanted to catalog my cherry-blossom clock and he also told me that his Re-Tail had a bonus on perfect peaches.
Unfortunately, I only had three baskets of perfect peaches, plus one individual one. But my 28 peaches still sold for 168,000 bells. Not bad at all.
Tom’s friends Gavin and Mamas also came to visit. I dropped a leftover fountain firework and Tom tried to put it out with his watering can.
I gave Mamas a pink balloon I got from a StreetPass last week. After a while, Gavin started demanding that we play hide and seek. Naturally, Tom thought this sounded rather suspicious, and he ended the party soon after.
And Saharah was in town today, so I hired her to redecorate my house. However, she installed a mortar wall and a playroom rug. It didn’t turn out well.
