Gulliver sent me a Gaudi’s lizard in the mail from Spain today.
I was playing late at night once again, and Octavian questioned why I was out so late. He said it was his thing. Well it’s my thing too, octo-dude.
He told me he was redecorating his house and he asked me for some furniture. I decided to give him the only furniture I had on me: Gaudi’s lizard. He seemed to enjoy it, and he rewarded me by giving me some mosaic tile.
There was a tent over at the campsite, so I went inside to check it out. O’Hare the bunny rabbit was inside. I’m just wondering how that hat fits on his head. Did he cut out some notches to make room for his ears or what?
Because of the late hour, not much was going on. It was too late to work at the cafe, not many animals were out, and the stores on Main Street were closed for the night too. But I went in the Dream Suite to check on my most recent dream visitor. Luna told me it was Jessica from Hawaii.
Just as a reminder, there’s no Friday Night Forest tomorrow. Instead, I’ll be opening my gate on Sunday night around 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time for the final fireworks festival of the year.
In case you haven’t heard, Nintendo is releasing some DLC packs for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U soon. One of them will feature an Animal Crossing grand prix cup and it will let you race as Isabelle or Villager! Check out Jeff’s Gaming Blog for more information about that.
Rocco the hippo was camping out at the campsite, so I went inside his tent to say hello.
Drago asked me for a piece of fruit, and I gave him the last perfect cherry I had left over from Oakville. He loved it so much that his jaw nearly hit the ground!
In return, he gave me a holly bonsai. I was hoping for his picture, but oh well. Maybe next time. As long as I get it before he dies.
After circling around town, I headed up to Main Street. In the Dream Suite, Luna told me Josh from Toadtown recently visited my dream town. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I checked out the home of John from Tri City. This pattern was on his furniture; I assume it’s Link, although it kind of looks like a gnome. (Gno offense).
When I returned to town, I found Gulliver down on the beach. He mentioned matadors, so I knew he was headed to Spain next. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Crazy Redd’s tent was in town tonight, so I went in to see if he had anything I needed. And indeed, I still needed this wild painting, so I went ahead and bought it. I’ll find out if it’s real or not tomorrow.
Aurora approached me and said she was tired of calling me “ham.” I was tired of it, too. It was supposed to be a Gala thing. But her choice for an alternate nickname wasn’t much better; she wants to call me muffin! I am not a muffin.
I barely got into the Emporium before it closed tonight, and I bought some fertilizer and a couple of bushes for Wendy. I also went over to the Dream Suite again and updated my dream town (dream address 4300-2003-9889). Luna told me that Jay from the town of Creative was my most recent dream visitor. That’s a…creative…town name…
That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more next time. If you haven’t already checked out my
