It rained again in Forest today. Keep it coming, Mother Nature!
The new DLC item, a Libra scale, is now available at the post office. Just ask Pelly or Phyllis for it!
This is what it looks like. It can be re-ordered for 4,800 bells.
In the Emporium, Rolf was telling me how plants won’t stab you in the back. Very true.
And then he says that the ones with thorns might, but only if you fall backwards onto them. Haha! 😀
I worked a shift at the Roost today, and Rolf was my first customer. He likes mocha coffee with a little bit of milk and sugar. But my next three customers all prefer Kilimanjaro coffee with regular milk and sugar: Aurora, Sprinkle, and Tortimer. It’s a bit unusual to get the same exact order three customers in a row.
As the rain let up, Sprinkle asked me to collect signatures for her petition. The cause? To banish unsightly blemishes!
I agreed to help her out, but I was still making my rounds. Drago told me he was looking to replace his goldfish. Why, did you eat it? So I gave him the Libra scale and that worked out great. He rewarded me with a minimalist ottoman. That’s a mouthful.
Crazy Redd had his art gallery tent set up in town, so I went inside to check it out. The only item I needed was this flowery painting, so I took a chance on it.
I then headed over to Wendy’s town Pawnee. The other Wendy (from Oakville) was there visiting too! I guess she was transferring something from one town to the other. But it was a bit odd seeing two Wendys.
Gracie was in her town again, looking for modern fashions. I let Wendy use my jade plaid tee and clogs, which she paired with her own accessory and skirt. She passed! Three down, one to go!
With that out of the way, I started asking her villagers to sign my petition. Cookie wouldn’t sign it, because she was too busy unpacking. But it only takes a second!
But I got my friend Kiki to sign!
After making my way around town (purposely avoiding Eugene), Daisy provided the 6th and final signature I needed. Good dog!
Here’s a look at the completed petition. Notice that Eugene isn’t one of the signatures? That’s because he’s one of the unsightly blemishes I want to banish!
But before I returned home, I noticed that the Pawnee Re-Tail had a premium on perfect peaches today! After a quick stop at my locker, I returned with five baskets to sell. They earned me a nice chunk of change: 270,000 bells!
I then returned to Forest and opened my gate. Wendy came over to shop, and Tom stopped by too. He was wearing the witch’s robe. It wasn’t the best look for him…
King Tom later climbed into my zen garden to play in the sand. I responded by doing something not very zenlike: I killed the king.
I ended the party soon after that. I then found Sprinkle near my fountain and gave her the completed petition.
She rewarded me with a laptop and called me super sparkly for helping her? Whut?
I then updated my dream town and found out that Bunny from Narnia was my most recent dream visitor. I also checked out a StreetPass house in the Happy Homes Showcase. The basement had a lovely bed with a bunch of TV cameras pointed at it. Uh, I’m sure someone was filming a tutorial on how to make your bed. Yeah, that’s it.

Unfortunately, it was a nice, sunny day in Forest. Kidd offered to sell me a graceful painting for 7,840 bells. Even though I already have one of those in the museum, I decided to buy it.
At the top of the cliff by my zen bell, I saw a lost item down on the beach below.
Since it was the private beach, I had to put on my wet suit and swim over there to pick it up. I assume someone must’ve dropped it off the cliff, because I’ve never seen the animals do any swimming. Not even Octavian!
Most of the nicknames in the game seem to be mushy pet names like dearie, cookie, and cupcake. So I’m glad she chose something a bit more fitting for a guy, even if it is a bit formal.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jake from Hawaii was my most recent dream visitor. And I held a short giveaway for my graceful painting. Mew from Kittan was the winner, so I dropped it off at her town.
After that, I returned to the Dream Suite to visit Ethan’s dream town of Habitat (dream address 7500-2158-2503). I put on some clothes that were nearby and took this picture in a colorful part of town, near a bench.
I went inside a house to visit Goldie the dog, and she said she had a dream about meeting a new friend.
I also spoke with some other cute villagers, including Kiki and Fauna.
Habitat is a very nice town that’s definitely worth a look. If you have the Dream Suite and want another cool town to visit, Habitat would make a great choice.
Gala was talking about a dream visitor named d34 from the town of Old Yes. She said that d34 was a pro listener.
Wendy was online, and she asked to come over to shop. But then I realized my stores closed in just one minute! I went to open my gate and then ran to the Emporium, but it closed just seconds before I reached the door. Wendy still came over for a visit, however. She commented on how it’s always raining in Forest, suggesting that it should be called Pourest instead.
Drago was discussing the rain too, wishing that it was grape soda instead.
Gulliver was down on the beach, but he was dead. Or unconscious.
It was getting late, so I ended the session. And as soon as I came out of the train station, Drago pinged me. He wanted to move out of town on September 28th. But I made him stay.
And with the gate closed, I was able to wake up Gulliver. He was clearly on his way to Hawaii, so he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
