Harvest Week

Tonight, Amelia told me that she’s an airhead again. 😀 She also asked if I’m busy…and yes, I’ve been quite busy lately.

Amelia: I'm an airhead again. Aren't you busy, Jeff!A reminder about the harvest festival this week was posted on the bulletin board today. It takes place on Thursday (which is Thanksgiving in the United States), so that should be fun cooking with Franklin.

If you want to prepare, you might want to put a variety of fish and mushrooms in storage. That will save you some time on Thursday. It can feel more like a fishing tournament than a harvest festival otherwise.

~Notice~ This year's Harvest Festival is on Thursday, November 27th, so it's time to get ready and enjoy the fruits of fall together!Although I usually try to open my gate on the major holidays, I’m not sure if I’ll be able to on Thursday. If you’re on on my 3DS roster, feel free to check to see if my gate is open if you want, but it’s not a sure thing.

Near my central bridge, Octavian told me he was going to move out on November 30th.

Octavian: I've decided to move on the 30th of this month. But of course, I talked him out of moving.

Gulliver was unconscious down on the beach, so I woke him up for a little chat. Again, he mentioned the Nobel prize. After guessing wrong last time, I knew that the answer was Sweden. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Gulliver: ...Sweden! That's right. That's right! I was going to go to Sweden!

Dreaming of TZ’s Town Hyrule

Yesterday, I met an ugly frog in the campsite. It wasn’t Jambette, but Gigi. She’s almost as bad…but not quite.

Gigi: Hey, are you from around here? Oh, great! I've been looking for a local to chat with.
Look elsewhere, please.

When I checked out K.K.’s Saturday night performance, I found a full house; Tabby, Tammy, and Drago all joined Shrunk to enjoy the show.

Shrunk, Tabby, Tammy, and Drago in Club LOL.And today, I bought 3,200 turnips from Joan for a price of 101 bells apiece.

Joan: The asking price is 101 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Later on tonight, Sprinkle told me she was going to move out of town on November 25th. But I asked her to stick around a little longer.

Sprinkle: I mean, how can a cute gal like me stay cooped up in one place for too long, in pudding?Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Kyle from Moriland was my most recent dream visitor. And I decided to dream a little dream myself. I visited TZ’s town Hyrule, which has a dream address of 4200-2634-5835. (Update: The new dream address is 4F00-0025-AAB7). I took a few pictures from some of my favorite parts of town.

Here, the pink flowers and a square topiary even made an instrument shelter look good.

Pink flowers, a square topiary, and an instrument shelter. An illuminated arch right in front of the Roost also looked really nice, especially with all of the blue flowers nearby.

Update, February 2017: Hyrule now has a new dream address of 4F00-0025-AAB7. Some changes have been made to the town, and my favorite new feature is this Splatoon themed room.

Easy Delivery

Near my central bridge, Octavian asked me to make a delivery to Sprinkle…who was standing just a few feet away.

Octavian: Listen, something that was meant to go to Sprinkle got sent to my house by mistake.
Do it yourself, she’s right there!

But I agreed to help him out, so I went to the trouble of turning around and handing her the item. It turned out to be a present for me anyway, so she let me keep the fall plaid tee. Lucky me.

Sprinkle: It's a fall plaid tee!Saharah was in town tonight, so I hired her to put in some new carpet and wallpaper.

Saharah: Inspiration! It burns the hooves like desert sand. Embrace it!She installed a desert vista and an autumn floor. I actually like them, particularly the autumn floor.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that JimJam from Augusta was my most recent dream visitor.

Just to let you know, there might not be a blog entry tomorrow. But hopefully things will return to normal by Sunday. Have a good weekend, everyone!
