Meli informed me that her Re-Tail was buying turnips for a whopping 456 bells each today, so I quickly headed to her town.
I sold my 3,100 turnips for a grand total of 1,413,600 bells! Thank you very much, Meli! I then gave her a tip.
No, actually she asked me not to tip her, although I did slip her a 100-bell coin. I’m a big spender. 😛
After I returned home, then I noticed Katie the annoying traveling cat. Too bad, I’m not helping you out today. Go take a nap in your litterbox.
I put the money into my bank account at the post office, and my balance topped 28 million bells.
When I checked my mail, I found a letter from Gulliver in Scotland. He sent me some bagpipes. I’ve always liked bagpipes, so I put them in my house next to my sofa (replacing my deer scare).
Down by the river, Octavian had a flea on him. So I got my net out and caught it…as a nosy kitten looked on.
And at the event plaza, I noticed that the town tree is losing its leaves. Of course, this is completely normal for this time of year. The leaves fall off and will be gone by winter, and they’ll regrow in the spring.
Octavian asked me for an ocean fish, so I caught an olive flounder for him. When I gave it to him, he thanked me with a spade tee.
Rolf was getting hungry, but he wasn’t interested in eating any of Forest’s former residents up on Main Street. He asked for a pear, and I gave him a perfect pear. He loved it and he rewarded me with a table lamp.
Just a reminder for the people on my 3DS roster that Friday Night Forest is this week. I’ll be opening my gate on Friday around 10pm EST.
I then started my walk around town. I met Molly by the bridge, and she said she wasn’t comfortable talking out in the public like this. Is she a secret agent or something? I thought Agent S was the spy.
But it turns out, she just wanted to visit my house–which was far less exciting than going on a secret mission. I showed her around, and she had to leave by the time we got to the basement. Or maybe her mission was complete once she saw where I kept the gold!
Over at the campsite, Patty the
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Chai from Teavana was my most recent dream visitor.
I had 15 minutes to find her, Rolf, and Agent S. I almost made a complete loop around town before I found someone; Rolf was hiding behind my zen bell.
And near the starting point, Sprinkle was hiding behind the modern clock.
You call that being a ninja? Ninja, please.
What? Agent S is in the lake? Actually, he was just talking about Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster. He’s headed to Scotland, so he asked me if he would look good in a kilt. I guess it wouldn’t hurt…it’s not like you wear pants anyway.
He’ll be sending me a gift from Scotland tomorrow. But for now, I continued my search for Agent S. Fortunately, it didn’t take long. She was hiding behind a banana tree.
So I won the game with nearly eight minutes to spare. Sprinkle rewarded me with a birdhouse. Yes, a birdhouse. Thanks a lot.
Later on tonight, I found Octavian sitting on my metal bench. But he wasn’t taking a nap like he recently said he likes to do; he was just sitting and enjoying the cool, crisp evening.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Bek from Codytown was my most recent dream visitor.
Actually it was delivered to Amelia by accident. Or so she claims. But I told her I’d return the package to Rolf regardless. But when I got to his house, he seemed a bit confused. I guess he’s his own guard dog.
It turns out the package was really a gift meant for me. I opened it, and it was a deep-blue tank. I have like 300 of these already.
I took a walk outside to clear my thoughts. I also took a look up at the moon and stars.
By now, Octavian was in his house. He offered to sell me a proper painting for 3,136 bells. I needed that painting for the museum, so I took a chance on it.
I made my way towards the museum, but Agent S stopped me. She told me she had an elephant in her pocket! Actually, an elephant tee, but I was really hoping to see Big Top jump out of there.
She offered to trade it for a simple armchair I had in my pockets, and I agreed to the exchange. After that, I made my way up to Main Street. But when I saw Canberra, I fell flat on my face! I wasn’t expecting to see a creature like that in the middle of the night!
I quickly walked around her (with a tight hold on my wallet) and went into the museum. Blathers told me that the proper painting was real!
Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you all next time!
