Today is the day of the big snowstorm in Animal Crossing, and it will result in the ground being covered in snow starting tomorrow.
Over by the Roost, I found a lost item on the ground.
Amelia was nearby, but the item didn’t belong to her. However, just a few feet away, I found the item’s rightful owner: Agent S! She was happy to get her fancy pouch back, and she rewarded me with a stove.
Down on the beach, Gulliver was talking about matadors and bulls. He’s headed to Spain, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
Drago may breathe fire, but the snow cools him off.
He asked me to catch an ocean fish for him, so I went and found a squid for him. He thanked me by giving me a future tank. It’s not exactly good weather for a tank top, now is it?
I then went up to Main Street. In the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Meg Rowe from New Leaf was my most recent dream visitor. In Able Sisters, I bought a Santa beard before using the big sewing machine. This design is a retro gamer tee designed by Mike. It has a NES controller on the front and Mario on the back. If you’d like this shirt, it’s available on the QR Codes page. Thanks, Mike!
I later returned to the Dream Suite, where I dreamed of Nintendo of Japan’s official dream town. TZ recommended the town to me back in September. The town has lots of flowers everywhere, and I stopped for a picnic with some gyroids.
There are a lot of face cutout standees of Nintendo characters, including the cat suit from Super Mario 3D World. Me-YOWZA!
The houses and rooms are also based on Nintendo characters or games. This must be Toad’s shroom room.
And somehow I ended up in Bowser’s castle! I should have dressed for the occasion, but I’m still in my pajamas.
There’s even a Tomodachi Life room! Oh Mii, oh my!
Wendell lets you take all these patterns home with you, including the ones for the face-cutout standees. It’s a great town to visit, so give it a look if you haven’t seen it before. The dream address is 0000-0100-0017.
I jumped down and found Resetti and Don in the middle of a conversation. Resetti was complaining about a voice-recognition system that was forced on them from their HQ. But I thought this was HQ.
Resetti basically told Don he was too stupid for the new equipment anyway.
After they discovered that I was standing there, they told me not to use the voice recognition system to say “Scramble.” But of course, I tried it anyway. Unfortunately, not much happened, other than Resetting telling me to stop.
I noticed something funny as I continued talking to him, though. Each time, Resetti would sink down into his seat as he spoke, only to pop back up when he was done talking. Must be a glitch.
After I went back up, Sprinkle told me that she wanted a yellow present for Toy Day.
That was the final clue I needed! I now have all 20 clues, and I know what everyone wants. Christmas Eve should be a breeze for me now! Here’s my list:
So he gave me the Refurbishing Master badge!
It’s my 10th gold badge! Thanks, Phineas! Here’s an updated look at my current badges:
I was glad to see it was snowing in Forest this evening. Big Top was worried that it would all melt away overnight…and he’s right. We still have a few more days until the snow sticks to the ground.
Thanks to a tip from Squishy, I learned that the holiday stocking can be customized. The only option was to make it aqua, but that’s fine by me.
So I made sure to pick it up when it was done. It looks really nice! Thanks for the tip, Squishy! I don’t normally think of customizing items from holidays or special events, since most of them can’t be altered.
In front of my metal bench, Sprinkle told me that she had a scoreboard in her pocket! Wow, and I thought my pockets were big!
I saw a big snowflake floating around, so I got my net out and caught it! I can’t exchange it for ice furniture until I build a snowmam though, and that can’t be done until snow covers the ground. But it’s still fun to catch them!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lulu from Solitude was my most recent dream visitor.
