I got a letter from Kabuki in the mail today; he sent me a blue tie-dye tee. Maybe I’ll wear it tomorrow, but I want to stick with green for today. It is St. Patrick’s Day after all, which is known as Shamrock Day in the world of Animal Crossing. Isabelle can be found near the town tree, dressed in green for the occasion.
She was handing out shamrock hats, and I decided to wear mine for the rest of the day. Sorry, mohawk lovers.

There’s also a face-cutout standee at the plaza, so I stuck my face through it. Look, I’m a leprechaun and this is me pot o’gold!
My villagers commented on the hat when I spoke with them. They all seemed to like it.
Wearing the hat even saved me from getting pinched by Octavian!
Rolf took it a little too far, though. He said I looked like a genuine leprechaun. I’d like to think I’m too tall to be a leprechaun…This isn’t City Folk, pal!
Over by my zen bell, I found a lost item.
I began asking my villagers about the lost item. It turned out to belong to Agent S, who said it was her favorite book. She gave me a rally tee to thank me for returning it.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Claire from Oceana was my most recent dream visitor.
I wrapped up my evening with a trip out to the island. I saw that the tuna-kahuna tour was available–lucky me!
This is a great tour for earning medals. If you can catch eight tuna in six minutes (which is quite easy to do), you’ll earn a whopping 20 medals! I did it twice and scored an easy 40 medals.
Thanks for stopping by, and happy St. Patrick’s Day! If you haven’t already checked out my Dream Suite Adventure to the Irish-themed town of Shamrock, please give it a look!

It’s a great town to visit, especially around St. Patrick’s Day. The dream address is 7500-2364-9142 if you want to experience it for yourself.
When I returned to the Dream Suite later on, to update my own dream town, Luna told me that Sammy from SammyP6 was my most recent dream visitor.
Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, known as Shamrock Day in the game, so I’ll be back with another blog entry then. Enjoy your day, everyone!
When I started up the game again later, Pete was outside my house. He handed me a letter from Nintendo, which said that a ceramic hot pot is available at Nintendo Zone locations today (March 15th) through March 28th.
Once connecting from a Nintendo Zone location (wink wink), I went to the post office and Pelly gave me the ceramic hot pot.
It can be ordered from your catalog for a price of only 1,000 bells. Good deal!
Even better, the menu can be customized at Re-Tail with any of these options: Sukiyaki, oden, hot pot, or tofu hot pot. If any of you have a restaurant, kitchen, or other food-related room in your house, you may want a few of these.
Anyway, Dizzy offered to sell me a trash can. There’s nothing wrong with that in itself, but what he said next was a bit insulting.
Anyway, I was having a bad luck day; I kept falling on my face all over town.
Merka came over for a very short visit to buy some tools and get her hair done. Looking much better without the bedhead, Merka.
Later on, I wrapped up my night at the Dream Suite. I updated my dream town, and Luna told me Hannah from Helgen was my most recent dream visitor.
