Rolf asked me for some furniture today, and without even thinking about it, I accidentally gave him a yellow butterfly I had caught just moments before. It turned out good though, because he liked it so much that he gave me his picture.
It was raining off-and-on in Forest this evening, so I got a break from watering my flowers. Surprisingly, Kabuki told me he loved the rain. Most cats don’t seem to like water, but Kabuki is clearly an exception.
Up at the Dream Suite tonight, Luna told me that Ray from Quelvrin was my most recent dream visitor. When I checked yesterday, it was GoGo from the town of RudyLove.
I took a boat ride out to the island for some touring. I went on a couple of giant dragonfly tours. If you catch ten of the large dragonflies in seven minutes, you earn 20 medals!
After returning to the mainland, I found out that Aurora was sick. So I headed up to the Emporium and bought some medicine for her. Get well soon!

I ended up losing money on turnips yesterday, so I didn’t bother buying any new ones today.
Merka came over to collect petition signatures (and also to shop). Today is her birthday, so happy birthday, Merka! I helped her celebrate by giving her a birthday slap…with an axe. Am I doing it wrong?
Rolf told me that he was going to be moving out of town on April 15th. Not so fast, tiger.
I started up the game again later, and Pete met me outside my house with a letter from Nintendo. Today through April 25th, a carp banner will be available at Nintendo Zone locations (at least in America).
I made sure to pick mine up…
I put it in my gorgeous furniture room. It looks like the outdoor windsocks that can be seen in the GameCube version of Animal Crossing in early May. (Check out
The carp banner can be ordered from the catalog for just 2,020 bells.
Of course, I went inside to welcome her to Forest.
I updated my dream town early in the evening, and Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was James from Vanilois.
There seemed to be a lot of cherry blossom petals falling tonight–more than I saw during the day. Or maybe they just show up better at night.
We headed out to the island and went on a market-price-bug tour. We won the gold Tortimer award and 8 medals. Merka got first place and I got second place…that earned me an additional 4 medals.
However, as I started a second tour, we got disconnected. So I’m not sure if we got credit for that first tour or not.
We started talking about upcoming games and Amiibos. I bought a cup of coffee from Brewster and enjoyed it while sitting on my bench.
After a while, we all ended up by the train station as we continued talking about games.
We were talking about something that was kind of like a tongue twister (I forget what it was exactly), and TZ said her tongue was in knots. I suggested that her tongue turned into a pretzel. 😛
Merka left shortly after 11:00, and I ended the session about 20 minutes later when TZ was about to leave anyway. Thanks to everyone who came! Have a good weekend everyone, and I’ll see you next time!
