Big Top was enjoying the nice weather we had in Forest today. He took advantage of it by eating snacks and taking naps. Incidentally, those are the same things he would be doing indoors.
Aurora was at the pond, holding a fishing rod. She told me that if she just waited there for a long time, she’ll catch something. Yeah, good luck with that.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Katrine from Poobrain was my most recent dream visitor. Interesting town name. I guess it’s good that her name is Katrine instead of Latrine.
Down on the beach, I blew some dandelion puffs into the ocean from whence they came.
The island had the tuna-kahuna tour today! I went on five tours, earning another 100 medals today. There was still no sign of Phineas when I returned, though. I think he’s avoiding me.
And when I returned to Forest, Agent S told me springtime was the time for her to bloom on out of town. Naturally, I told her she was nuts and I made her change her mind. Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean you can bounce.

I took a boat ride out to the island this evening. No tuna-kahuna tour today, but there was another tour that’s just as good: The giant-dragonfly tour. You have to catch ten large dragonflies (banded dragonflies or petaltails) in seven minutes to earn a whopping 20 medals.
I went on the tour five times, scoring a total of 100 medals on the day! I then returned to Forest; Kapp’n was telling me that he has a life raft in his shell.
I really, really, really wish there was some kind of progress indicator that told us how close we are to earning new badges.
Reese and Rolf were getting a bit close, but Cyrus didn’t seem to mind.
This morning, I bought a new batch of turnips here in Forest. Joan was selling them for 102 bells each.
I made a trip out to the island and went on an advanced price-fishing tour. I caught 46,740 bells worth of fish, which earned me a gold Tortimer award and 12 medals.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Ozzie from New Bark was my most recent dream visitor.
And my mom sent me a pine table in the mail, so here’s a look at both of Booker’s possessions.
When I went up to Nook Homes, Tom Nook told me I now owe him 39,800 bells. I don’t plan on fully expanding Booker’s house, but I will upgrade it at least once. Beyond that, I’ll just wait and see how things go.
Yesterday was my town’s two-year anniversary. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or not, I appreciate all of you who read this blog. Thank you very much. If you’d like to re-live my first moments in New Leaf, here’s a video that shows when I first get off the train and arrive in Forest.
