Cally’s Last Day

Saharah was in town today, and I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpet. As I went in to look at it, Big Top also came in. The new additions from Saharah were a kiddie wall and an ornate rug. Unfortunately, I had to wait for Big Top to leave before I could change it back.

Kiddie wall and ornate rug.And today is the day I’ve been waiting for: Cally’s last day in town! She appreciated the good advice I gave her: Get out.

Cally: After all, it was really kind of you to give me advice about moving. She hopes that I never forget her. I’m sure I won’t be able to. The nightmares will make sure of that.

Cally: We won't be living in the same town anymore, but I hope you never forget me!Rolf approached me, wanting my circle banner. He gave me a fireplace for it. He may be surprised when he puts the circle banner in his house and finds out it doesn’t have circles on it…but that’s his problem.

Rolf: You're into the fine art of the circle banner too?!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Mint from Chocvine was my most recent dream visitor. It sounds like a delicious town!

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Mint from Chocvine enjoyed your dream.

A Rare Kabluki

I decided to customize my circle banner with a zigzag design. I didn’t have a real reason for doing it; maybe I was just feeling edgy. But it’s still called a circle banner. Look at banner, Michael!

A circle banner customized with a zigzag design.Beth submitted a Kabuki faceboard design to the QR Codes page, so I gave it a try on my face-cutout standee.

A Kabuki design on my face-cutout standee.I wonder how Kabuki would feel if I replaced him with a cardboard cutout? I bet he’d feel blue…

Tom the cat sticking his face through the Kabuki cutout standee.Nah, that’s actually Tom…not a blue Kabuki. Also known as a Kabluki.

Over by town hall, Dizzy was intrigued by my moth.

Dizzy: Oh, wow! What are you doing with a moth?He offered to give me his metronome for it.

Dizzy: Let's make a deal! Wanna trade your moth for my metronome?I can always make time for a trade like this!

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Mike from Verkaton was my most recent dream visitor. And Tom mentioned having a dream of Timber from Xing. Thanks for visiting!

Circle Banner – Nintendo Zone DLC

Yesterday, I attacked a balloon present with my net and I ended up with a new hat. Clearly, it’s a gift from above. 😉

A present appears to land on my head.Copper told me Phineas was in town, and I was quite eager to see what new badge I had earned; I didn’t know what to expect. Once I tracked him down, he gave me the Gardening Specialist badge! Now I can stop buying extra flowers and saplings. TZ already gave me a hard time at Friday Night Forest earlier this month for planting a sapling where it wouldn’t grow. I did that on purpose, because I didn’t need the tree, I just needed credit towards this badge.

I got the Gardening Specialist badge! Need someone with a green thumb? I'm your guy! That was my 13th gold badge. As a result, this is what my badge collection looks like now:

My badge collection as of July 19, 2015.And then today, I found Joan in town, selling turnips for 104 bells each. I bought 4,100 of them this time.

Joan: The asking price is 104 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?A message posted on the bulletin board announced the winners of yesterday’s Bug-Off competition. Big Top was the big winner with 51 points.

Bug-Off Results: The winner of the Bug-Off was Big Top, 51 points.Circle Banner DLC

Pete delivered a new letter from Nintendo regarding a new Nintendo Zone DLC item. Now through August 1st, you can download a circle banner.

From 7/19 to 8/1, the circle banner is available via Nintendo Zone!So I went to pick mine up from Phyllis tonight.

Phyllis: Oh, all right. Here's the circle banner! The circle banner reminds me of a traffic light. This might be a good thing to use in a racing (or Mario Kart) themed room. 3, 2, 1, Go! It can be ordered from the catalog for 1,200 bells.

Circle banner: 1,200 bells.
