Beth asked if she could come over to collect signatures for a petition tonight, so I opened my gate for her.

Nobody purchased the vanilla ice cream cone I put up for sale in Re-Tail during last night’s Wi-Fi session, so I decided to give it to the dreamers. I put it near the town tree, near the other goodies like the famous mushrooms and the chocolate coin. My dream address is 4300-2003-9889 if you want to stop by for ice cream a visit.
Tom told me that he was planning on moving out of town on August 15th. But you just got here… No! You’re not going anywhere!
Up at the Happy Homes Showcase, I checked out the home of someone I StreetPassed–Edward from Red Hook. It looked like a fancy museum!
I found out it was Squishy who put the gyroids (tootoids) outside of my train station last night. (At first, I thought it was BranDex). Thanks, Squishy! I still needed one tootoid for Club LOL (I want a whole row of tooting gyroids, don’t judge me), so I tried taking one of them up there tonight. Unfortunately, it was just after 8:00, so I was too late. I’ll try again tomorrow. In the meantime, I danced with Skye, Kabuki, and Tammy.
My newest neighbor Velma was outdoors today, fishing in the pond. She said fishing is like meditation for her.
Just after 8:00 tonight, I opened my gate for some Sunday night fireworks. BranDex and T Zelda came over to visit. TZ was dressed up as a Splatoon squid.
Down at the event plaza, Isabelle gave me a flower bopper. I used a Roman candle on TZ. Fried squid, anyone?
Squishy came over to visit, so I had a full house in Forest. We all bought some cookies from Crazy Redd, stopping to spit out the tickets baked inside of them. I got a Lyle prize: Bang.
I was able to redeem it for a boxed figurine. Before long, a line had formed for Redd’s services.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a fireworks festival without the fireworks!
Back by Crazy Redd’s stand, we were all acting surprised for some reason.
Squishy and I roasted some cherries.
A bit later, we got disconnected. So we all lost everything we got from our cookies and winning tickets…ouch. I reopened my gate; BranDex returned, MaryAnn came over, and TZ returned. I hadn’t seen MaryAnn in a long time. And that’s not a tall tale.
We hung out by Re-Tail for a while, and then TZ left around 9:00. Squishy then returned. When I spoke to Agent S, she told me to call her a firecracker! Better than a nutcracker.
After eating another cookie from Redd, I was quite surprised when I got a sparkle prize. Or at least I looked surprised.
Stop. Hammer Time.
I found two tootoids just outside of the gate. Are they supposed to be Copper and Booker?
Shortly after 9:30, BranDex said he was going to leave. I also decided to wrap things up, and I ended the session for the night. Thanks for coming BranDex, TZ, Squishy, and MaryAnn! I hope you had a good time at the Forest Fireworks Festival!
She was in the process of unpacking, and she told me the boxes would be gone by tomorrow. And if not, she has some consequences for herself?
Back outside, I found a lost item on the ground behind Molly’s house.
It didn’t belong to Molly, Rolf, or Agent S. But the 4th time was the charm: It was Daisy’s bag! She thanked me for returning it (although she didn’t tell me what was inside…probably a cookie). She rewarded me by giving me a cabin armchair.
After completing my walk around town, I went up to the Dream Suite. While there, I took a dream visit to Clayton’s town of Lebanon. The current dream address is 4C00-0073-C02F. At the train station, I found…some trains!
The town is currently set to winter, so there’s snow on the ground…and on the PWPs.
And there are PWPs just about everywhere you look. Lots of flowers, too.
Many of the villagers are cats, and the town tune made me laugh: It’s the song from the Meow Mix commercials! Haha! It sounds best when sung by the cat villagers, of course.
