My former villager Gala has now started appearing on Main Street, and I had a chat with her in the Emporium. I hope she’s still doing well in Wendy’s town…
Ricky was camping at the campsite last night, so I went in to say hello. I considered inviting him to move in, but then I decided against it. He doesn’t seem like a bad animal to have around, although Agent S might not have liked the competition for nuts and acorns this time of year!
Speking of Agent S, she told me she met an awesome fashionista named Mew from Kittan! There’s a name I haven’t heard in a while! Hi Gia, if you still stop by here! 🙂
Today, I found a lost item on the ground. I hope it’s not an empty bag this time! Why can’t I peek inside?
As luck would have it, it belonged to the first person I asked about it! Dizzy thanked me for returning his bag, as he questioned why he was such a space cadet. Wait, what?
He gave me a nice reward, though: his picture! This isn’t the first time he’s given me his picture, so it’s not a huge deal, but it is a really nice gift!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Gwen from Mayville was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!
I put it in my house, although some of my rooms are getting overrun with villager pictures. I may need to start putting some of them into storage one of these days.
Tom’s favorite quote is “There’s no use crying over spilled milk.” I guess that could be applied to him leaving town without giving me a chance to stop him. He’s a cool cat, and I’ll miss him, but that will let another animal move into town. And I do still have him in myÂ
For the first time since Velma moved into town, she pinged me! I thought she was finally going to suggest a public works project for me. But no, she only wanted to visit my house. I told her no.
There was a tent set up at the campsite, so of course I went in to see was visiting. I actually have two vacancies in Forest now. But the camper was Bunnie, and I wasn’t interested in her taking up one of those spots.
Big Top asked me to catch a butterfly fish for him, so I went to the ocean to do some fishing. About six or seven fish later, I caught what I was looking for.
I took it back to Big Top, and he thanked me by giving me a crossing shirt. It’s always disappointing to get a shirt as a reward, but I guess it’s better than stationery.
I didn’t play this morning, so I was unable to buy any turnips for the week. But when I started up the game this evening, Pete met me outside my house with this letter from Nintendo. Now through September 26th, you can get a shogi piece at Nintendo Zone locations.
The letter is wrong about this only being available in Japan previously, because it was released as DLC back inÂ
I got some bad news today: Tom is moving out of town, without notice! It’s sad to see him go, especially this soon. I’m having doubts that he’ll send me his picture with his moving-out letter, since he was only here for 3.5 months. But I guess I’ll find out tomorrow.
At least I was able to reunite the lost item with its owner, Dizzy. But then he told me it was just an empty bag! I went to all this trouble for an empty bag?
He gave me a green dresser for my trouble.
