I visited Beth’s town Acorn the other night, and I had a chat with her villager Chai. She said she accidentally gave herself a unibrow!

But I really liked the red doorway when I entered Beth’s house.

Back in Forest, I’ve continued selling fossils to my villagers at Re-Tail. But last night, I noticed that I accidentally created a new monster dinosaur!

It was actually a mammoth skull and a megacero tail. 😛

And outside, I saw that cherry blossom petals are now falling from the sky!

Today, I started up the game at 5:57 p.m., just three minutes before the fishing tournament ended! I ran to the river, caught the first fish I saw, and then took it over to Chip. It was a crucian carp that measured 7.65 inches. To my surprise, Chip said it was a new record! He then gave me a library wall as my prize.

I didn’t fish any more, I just waited until the clock struck 6:00 and I entered Chip’s tent. My 7.65 inch fish held on and won the tournament! Keep in mind, this tournament wasn’t just for crucian carp, it was for any fish. That’s got to be the easiest tournament win ever. 😛

Back outside, Camofrog was really mad for some reason. I don’t know what his problem was.

Last night, Molly approached me and told me she had been looking for an hourglass for a long time. I sold mine to her, even though she only gave me 144 bells for it.

After some web searching, I was able to find a new dream address for another town previously featured in Jeff’s Dream Suite Adventures. The city-themed town of Highway is now back online! See my Highway page for more info.

Tonight, Aurora told me that she hasn’t been using her spiderweb tee much lately.

She wanted to trade it for my ranch bookcase. That wasn’t a very fair trade, but I agreed to it anyway. I spoil my villagers sometimes. 😛

I found a lost item over by the waterfall tonight. A lost mitten, in fact.

I started asking my villagers about it, but it didn’t take me long. I returned it to Vivian, who said she dropped it on the way to Lily’s house. She thanked me and gave me an elephant shirt for my trouble.

Lily asked me for some furniture to replace her watermelon chair, so I gave her a customized robo-chair. She rewarded me with her picture! I just got her picture on April Fools’ Day, but now I earned one through the regular method as well. At least now, I feel like I’ve really earned it.

And in Re-Tail, Vivian said that today may be the day she literally shops until she drops! I sure hope not!

Late last night, Vivian told me she was good at dusting. That was one of her April Fools’ Day hints.

I’m sure you know by now that I sell ore at the flea market section in Re-Tail for inflated prices. But for days when I don’t have as many gems, I’ve started putting fossils for sale as well. Just whatever the default selling price is, just multiply it by 4 and subtract 1 bell for the maximum selling price (but never more than 9,999). I’m glad my villagers don’t know any better. 😉

Today is April 1st, and many regular trees around town will be pink. It’s a very pretty time of year.

Over at the event plaza, I found Blanca, the cat without a face.

If you’re not familiar with the April Fools’ Day event, I’ll sum it up for you: In one house at a time, a villager will have a clone that’s really Blanca in disguise. You are given a towel, and you have to give it to one of the two, based on their answers to questions.

The one you suspect will then wipe his/her face with the towel. If you’ve correctly chosen Blanca, the face will wipe off. The real villager will thank you for knowing, and then give you his/her villager picture.

Blanca first appeared in Rolf’s house.

I correctly figured out which was the fake Rolf, and Blanca’s blank face was revealed.

So Rolf gave me his picture, and Blanca went on to clone another one of my villagers. That turned out to be Camofrog, and unfortunately, I didn’t have any hints for him. So I had to guess. One wanted to be a lawyer, and the other wanted to be a pilot. I handed the towel to the pilot, and it was the real Camofrog. Oops.

But things improved from there. Vivian’s hint from last night helped me get her picture, and most of the others I knew already.

But the last villager of the night, Rodeo, was a wild card; I didn’t have any clues for him. I guessed that his favorite quote was “Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz,” and I was right. And with that, Blanca said goodbye until next year.

In all, I got 9 out of 10 correct. Three of the pictures I received tonight were new ones: Lily, Vivian, and Rodeo. Here’s a look at each one, along with their favorite quotes.
