The Bug-Off insect-catching competition was held today, but I played too late to participate. However, I was able to catch the winners’ ceremony. Boots won the contest with a spider, believe it or not! Rolf finished in 2nd place, and Bob was third.

One of my initiatives today was to work a shift at the Roost. But since today was an event day, I couldn’t work at the Roost.

After 8:00, I went to Club LOL to enjoy some live music. Once again, two animals (Tom and Dizzy this time) were sitting on opposite sides of the club.

I asked K.K. for a random song, and he performed Bubblegum K.K.

After stopping at the Emporium to order a couple of items, I went out to the island. I did some fishing and some bug-catching, as I tried to earn a little extra money.

Once I returned to town and sold my catches, I found an extra 165,000 bells in my pockets. I then put that money into the bank. I’m only 350,000 bells away from reaching my goal! I think I should be able reach it by next week! 🙂

Last night, I went to visit Boots inside his house. He was actually asleep, as he was standing up. Of course, I woke him up. 😛

Today, I was surprised to find Ankha at the campsite once again! She was just here last week! This makes four times that she has camped out in Forest, and all four of those times were times that Forest was already full.

I noticed that some of the bushes in town are blooming now. This little yellow butterfly seemed to enjoy the flowers.

Up at Able Sisters, I bought this lightning tee. This shirt was part of an outfit I used to wear a lot.

Camofrog asked me to make a delivery to Aurora, and I agreed to help out. Especially since Aurora wasn’t very far away. The gift was a rainbow tee, and Aurora put it on right away. In fact, she was still in sight as I told Camofrog the news.

As I was wrapping up my game, I heard a balloon present flying overhead. I got my slingshot out and shot it down. I found a modern chair inside.

The other day, Beth had a furniture as the premium item at the Re-Tail in Arrested. So she invited me over to sell some stuff, after I moved some items between towns for her. I sold a bunch of ice, Pavé, and egg furniture that I had in storage.

That earned me over 600,000 bells in total.

I was shaking trees one evening, trying to catch some bees. One of those times (after already being stung once), more bees came at me after I shook their tree. I backed away, got my net ready, and swung. Success! I caught the bee…or so I thought, for a moment.

Oops! I actually caught a firefly and not the bee! You can still see the swarm of bees on the left side of the screen. Needless to say, they stung me once again after I pressed the A button. 😛

Bob invited me over to his house on Wednesday, so I paid him a visit. He asked if I would like to buy anything of his. But he quickly retracted the offer when I gravitated to his eel.

On Thursday, Butch the dog was camping at the campsite. He’s one of my favorite dogs in the series, but of course my town is still full.

Today, I earned enough money to bring my bank account balance up to 99 million bells!

Tonight, I went up to Club LOL and enjoyed a K.K. Slider performance of K.K. Flamenco. Elise and Sprinkles were also there, sitting on opposite sides.
