Hornsby’s Pic

Hornsby recently told me that he was jealous of my balloon hat. I can’t imagine why. He then told me to be careful not to pop it. Well, I guess it’s good that he doesn’t have one, because his horns would have popped his hat anyway!

Hornsby: But be careful not to pop it. That would be a horrible waste, shnozzle.

On Tuesday, Boots told me he wanted to see the time capsule I buried for him. So I went to the spot and dug it up. He said it had an old sweat-soaked stadiometer inside. I thought that’s what he was going to give me, but he ended up giving me an eight lamp instead. Wow, what is with Boots and number lamps? 😉

Boots: It's an eight lamp! Thank you, boss! I feel like I've touched the future.

Today, Hornsby asked me for some fruit. I gave him a perfect orange and he went crazy for it!

Hornsby, very excitedly: SO GOOD!

As a reward, he gave me his picture! Finally!

Hornsby: A fantastic piece of fruit deserves a fantastic thank-you! Here. Have my Hornsby's pic!

This is my 32nd villager pic (not counting special characters). I went home to take a look at it; Hornsby’s favorite quote is “You can’t hit a mosquito with a horseshoe.” I…don’t think that’s true. But I’m glad to have the pic. 🙂

Over at the campsite, Kiki was camping out in a tent!

Kiki: Oh, hello. Are you from here? I fell in love with this town and decided to take a camping trip here.

I would have asked her to move in if I could, but my town is full. I should probably think about letting someone go. But the only villager I’d be willing to let go right now is Vivian, and the Amiibo villagers (which she is) never seem to ask to move out.

Rolf asked me to catch a butterfly for his niece tonight.

Rolf: My niece keeps asking me to give her a butterfly, but I just can't seem to catch one.

I keep a bunch of butterflies in the dock box for exactly this situation. I grabbed an agrias butterfly and then took it back to Rolf. He rewarded me by giving me a trunk. But oddly enough, he told me not to look into it too much.

Rolf: A trunk will have to be my way of giving thanks. But don't look into it too much!
Did you hide a dead body inside it or something?

Vivian asked me to make a delivery to Molly, and that gift was a shirt. Molly tried it on and asked me how it looked. I honestly didn’t know how to answer.

Molly, hidden behind a fish tank: So what do you think? Does it look good on me?
It looks fresh…….water goby.

She then gave me some candy for making the delivery.

Time Share

Last night, Hornsby told me he prepared a time capsule. He asked me to bury it for him, and I agreed. I put it in the northwest corner of town, in the same exact spot where I buried Boots’ time capsule recently. I don’t know how exactly that works, since you can’t normally bury two things in the same spot, but time capsules seem to be an exception to that rule. They can share the same spot.

Hornsby: I just put together a time capsule with my most prized possession inside. Now I just have to bury it!

Later, Hornsby asked me to make a delivery to Bob…who was standing just a few feet behind him.

Hornsby: Well... Bob wouldn't get mad at you, so do you think you could return this thing for me?

I made the delivery, and Bob never revealed what was inside the package. But he did give me a deep-blue tank for my trouble. It was an easy delivery…quite different from the wild goose chase I just went on in the GameCube game the other day. 😉

Not much was going on in town tonight, so I did something I haven’t done lately: I went dancing at Club LOL! Kabuki and Harry were also there.

On the edge of the cliff back in town, I saw a balloon present headed my way. Because I keep my slingshot attached to a letter (where it’s not easily accessible–especially when I’m feeling lazy), I just got my net out instead. Since it was still pretty low, I was able to smack it down with my JVGS net. 😉

It contained a balloon hat, so I put it on.

I used my net for a different purpose a few moments later. I saw Big Top resting on the town’s metal bench, and I used my net to catch his attention. 😛

Big Top is surprised to be hit with a net from behind.
At least he was wearing a helmet.

I felt bad for hitting Big Top in his big head, so I made up with him. I also joined him for a sit on the bench. We’re still friends.

Dreaming of Agima

My Dream Visit to Agima

Tonight, I made a dream visit to Eos’ town of Agima. Eos told me it’s a “dawn spring town” centered around the concepts of sea and cosmos. It’s certainly a beautiful town!

There was a meteor shower underway, so I stopped to wish on a shooting star.

The mayor’s house has some gorgeous space/cosmos themed rooms. I love it!

Gab’s house has water and plant-themed rooms, and they’re amazing as well.

But the basement is kind of creepy, in a way. Whose glowing egg is here on the seabed? I don’t want to be around when it hatches!

There are clothing items scattered around, so I put on this diving mask. I then sat a moment to enjoy this starlight garden.

Back in Forest…

The other day, Molly asked me for something to replace her black bass. After I saw that the stores didn’t have any small furniture items that could be placed on a table, I just went fishing.

I had forgotten which fish she was getting rid of, and the first thing I caught was a black bass. I tried to take it to Molly, but she reminded me that a black bass is what she was replacing. Oops, my bad. 😛

Molly: I need something different to replace my black bass, not the exact same thing.

I then caught a freshwater goby for her, and she enjoyed it. She thanked me by giving me a deluxe range. Now we’re cooking!

I listened in on a conversation between Big Top and Aurora, and I’ve come to the conclusion that Big Top is really the Cookie Monster in disguise.

Big Top: I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes I shovel so many cookies into my mouth, I can hardly breathe!

Then today, Molly asked me for some furniture. I gave her a sloppy clock I found at Re-Tail. She thanked me and gave me her picture again.

Molly: Oh, a sloppy clock! Nice!
