Aurora’s Salad Memory

Aurora recently told me of a nice memory she had. Her mom made salads with fresh tomatoes from their garden. I don’t know why that seems so cute, but it just does. 😛 Maybe because we don’t think of villagers as once being kids. I bet Aurora was a cute baby penguin!

Aurora: My mom would make salads with fresh tomatoes from our garden.

On Thursday, there was an animal camping at the campsite. Unfortunately, it was Gloria the ugly duckling. I wouldn’t invite her to move in if she was the last duck on Earth.

Gloria, at the campsite: Hey, are you from around here?

Rolf then asked me to dig up his time capsule.

Rolf: Do you remember that time capsule I had you bury a while ago?

It had a shearling coat inside, and that’s what Rolf gave me for my trouble. How exciting.

Rolf: I'll give this to you as a thank-you. So here ya go--one recently dug gift: a shearling coat!
I should re-bury it. In the dump.

Last night, Bones was sitting on the yellow bench. He asked me to join him, so I did. At least for a moment.

Bones: Come chill out on this bench with me, skippy!

Today, I re-visited the dream town of Highway (dream address 1C00-0028-2D9F). It’s the town with the city streets, crosswalks, etc. At first I thought that the gas station was gone, because it wasn’t where it once was. But then I found it across the river. Apparently a villager moved into the spot where it had been, so the mayor had to move it.

The gas station in Highway.

Back in Forest, I spotted Pete the mailbird. I sure don’t run into him very much!

Pete: Wow, this mailbag is HEAVY! Haven't these people ever heard of a phone conversation?

Tonight is the last night of fireflies. Even though they’re not valuable or anything, I enjoy seeing them each June.

My recent dream visitors have been Lyra from Citrolia, Peachy from Lavamoun, Hyacinth from Valyria, Dany from Fantasy, Teren from SmolTown, Katelyn from Lotto, Michael from AeroTown, and BranDex from Luna. Thank for stopping by, and enjoy your weekend! I’ll be back with another entry on Monday.

Summer Solstice 2018

The day after Bob left, I got his goodbye letter in the mail. Of course, he included his picture along with the letter. And now that Bob is gone, a new former resident has started appearing on Main Street…Julian the unicorn.

Julian: Oh! What a surprise... Nice to see you again, Jeff!

Now that I have nine villagers instead of ten, I’m able to adopt a camper from the campsite if I choose. But the first camper since Bob’s departure was Clyde the horse. I don’t really care for him, and besides, I already have him in my ACCF town.

Clyde: Hey! Are you from this town?
No, I just walk around Forest every day for the fun of it.

When I saw Big Top, he had one thing on his mind:

Big Top: Would you ever consider selling your portable toilet to me? Up my nose?

Anytime an elephant asks for a toilet, you give it to him. I sure wouldn’t want to clean up what he’d leave on the ground otherwise!

I visited Bones yesterday, and he was mad at me. Apparently, I haven’t been talking to him very much. I guess that means I’m in his doghouse.

Bones: I don't like being ignored! If you see me around, say hi! After all, it's only polite.
It’s not my fault you’re never around, dog gone it!

But I did give him a perfect orange when he asked me for fruit. He really liked it, and he rewarded me with a Spaceman Sam.

Today is the summer solstice, the day that the sun never sets!

Hornsby: Today's the summer solstice! That means the sun is gonna stay out all night, skippy!

Off-topic mini-rant: I wish I could get a nice sunny day like this in ACCF. I’ve been trying to record a City Folk video since Sunday, but I’m waiting for a sunny day and there hasn’t been one yet. Just clouds and rain!

Isabelle was over at the event plaza, handing out ladder shades for the occasion.

Isabelle: They're ladder shades!

There was also a face-cutout standee, where you can be the sun or a sunflower. I was sticking my face through the sun hole, shining as bright as I could, when…

Itchy itchy ITCHY! I got bit by a mosquito...

Ouch! How can a mosquito even reach the sun? Come on!

I recently made a new design showing some party balloons. If you’d like to use it in New Leaf or Happy Home Designer, just scan this. It’s also available on the QR Codes page.

My recent dream visitors have been Jasmine from Mars, Joshua from Astoria, Samaya from Luceford, Luma from JackCity, Lola from Forestia, Nikki from Elocin, Veronica from Rainbow, Xavier from Quigley, and Wayland from Waypoint.

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll see you next time!

So Long, Bob

Today was Bob’s moving day, so we said goodbye. Or at least “so long.”

Bob: Thanks for everything! I'm not going to say good-bye, 'cause I hope we'll see each other again.

Bob: I'll just say so long!
So long, Bob. Let’s meet again on Switch.

Hornsby asked me for some new furniture, so I gave him a Mouth of Truth. He thanked me and gave me a portable toilet. Yay, now I can go on the go.

Hornsby: It's a portable toilet! Thank you, skippy!

Squishy was going to adopt Bob, but she had some internet trouble tonight. So I posted on Twitter to find someone else to take Bob, and Kat from Clover came over to adopt him. I hope you enjoy having Bob in your town, Kat!

Bob: I'm moving to Clover!

Later, Hornsby asked me to make a delivery to Rolf. The gift was a blue flannel shirt, and Rolf put it on right away. He rewarded me with his picture (which I’ve received multiple times before).

Rolf: It's Rolf's pic!

My recent dream visitors have been Matt from AC Ville, Madison from Springs, and Kido from Keksdee. Thanks for visiting the dream version of Forest!

Nintendo’s E3 conference is tomorrow. Will we finally get news of a real follow-up to New Leaf? I sure hope so!
