Bad Hiding Spots

On Wednesday night, I spotted something unusual: I saw two villagers (Vivian and Rolf) both sitting on a bench at the same time.

Vivian and Rolf sitting on a metal bench.

Were they on a date? One thing is for sure: They didn’t want to make room for me. 😛

Rolf: Hey, li'l guy! I don't think we can make room for three. Sorry!

This wasn’t the first time I’ve seen two animals on the bench (case in point), but it does seem to be fairly rare.

Tonight, Agent S asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek.

Agent S: How about some hide-and-seek? I'm totally ninja when I hide, though, my acorns!
But this game isn’t about hiding your acorns.

She gave me ten minutes to find her, Aurora, and Rolf. It took me exactly one minute to find Aurora; she was standing behind Agent S’s house. That’s a pretty standard hiding spot, and it was actually the best hiding spot of the three. That’s because Rolf tried to hide behind the instrument shelter…which is shorter than him.

And Agent S was “hiding” behind the front paw of the Sphinx! Agent S may be short, but she’s not that short!

It took me less than four minutes to find all of them. Agent S gave me my prize for winning the game: a fire hydrant.

Agent S: You deserve a prize! Here. Have a fire hydrant.

During the game, I had actually found a lost item on the ground. Once the game was over, I asked the three participants (and Vivian, who was also nearby) about it, and Rolf admitted it was his bag. His baby shoes were inside!

Rolf: My baby shoes are in here! I'd be really bummed if these were lost for good! Tiger!
He gave me a bunny tee for returning the bag.

At Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Adventure for me, Peck, and Velma.

K.K. sings a song for Peck, Jeff, and Velma.

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors have been Pansy from Bup, Ben from Utopia, Jesse from ABQ, Conwjami from Cappytoe, Msands from Woodbury, and Arl from Suncrest. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day (or night)!

White Pot

On Tuesday, I listened in a conversation between Molly and Aurora. And I accidentally took this screenshot, which sounds like a threat! 😀

Molly, to Aurora: Good. Say, would you like to di

After putting some money into my bank account, my balance reached 112 million bells.

Your current balance is 112,000,000 bells.

On Wednesday, I played a game of hide-and-seek with Lolly, Aurora, and Boots. I found them all, and Lolly gave me a CD player for a prize. Oh, and Lolly has been using Big Top’s catchphrase lately.

You're a good seeker, up my nose! You'll have to tell us how you were able to find us so easily.
I just sniffed you out. But time was getting low, so I really had to boogie.

Thursday was Valentine’s Day, and I got two letters in the mail. Isabelle sent me a valentine with some chocolate cake attached, and Mom sent me a comfy sweater.

Tonight, Big Top was talking about the “Keep Forest Beautiful” town ordinance, but in his own odd little way.

Big Top: I'm pretty sure it's all because of the ordinance you put in my place, up my nose.
I didn’t put it in place THERE!

Hungry Hornsby asked me to find a pear for him.

Hornsby: You know what I'd like right now? A pear. They grow right here in Forest!
So grow a pear.

I tracked one down and gave it to him, and he rewarded me with a white pot. It didn’t take Lolly long to notice my pot.

So...I couldn't help but notice you have a white pot right there in your pockets!

She offered me 360 bells for it, and I accepted. And with that, I officially became Forest’s pot dealer. 😛

Up at Club LOL, K.K. Slider performed K.K. Chorale for me, Daisy, and Peck.

My recent dream visitors have been HP from Johto, Ty from Ø, Simone from New Leaf, Jannell from MeepCity, and Dawn from Blossom. Thanks for stopping by!

Velma’s Pocketknife

The fishing tournament was held today, but as usual, I missed out on it. 😛 But a message on the bulletin board informed me that Boots was the winner. Agent S finished in 2nd place, and Lolly was 3rd.

~Fishing Tourney Results~ Winner: Boots. Second: Agent S. Third: Lolly. Great work, everyone!

Speaking of Lolly, she proposed an interesting trade tonight. She wanted my silver nugget for her fresh tee. That’s right, a silver nugget for a T-shirt!

Lolly: So would you consider trading your silver nugget for my fresh tee?

Since I’m nice (to Lolly, at least), I agreed to the trade. But Lolly, I never want to hear you call me a bell-pincher again!

I updated my dream town for the first time in probably a month or two, and my dream visitor count has topped 3,000. It was 3,076 to be exact.

Luna: Records state the number of

Thanks to all who have visited! My recent dream visitors have been Bounty from Eel Cove, Kate from Asteria, and Jack from Rome.

I headed over to Club LOL for some Saturday night music, and I found Elise and Velma inside. Elise was sitting in the far-left seat, just like she was last week! And Velma said she was looking for a pocketknife! Yikes!

Velma: I was actually hoping to find a pocketknife...but I've spent most of my time window shopping.

I hope she wasn’t mad about the goat-eating greeting I gave Boots last week! If anything happens to me, please show this blog entry to Copper. It can be Exhibit A in the trial. RIP Jeff.

Once I sat down, K.K. Slider offered up some Stale Cupcakes. They were delicious. 😉

K.K.: Enough tuning--let's groove. This next one is for you, Jeff. It's called Stale Cupcakes.

I hope you’re all having a great weekend! Hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer for the next Nintendo Direct. It’s been about five months since the Animal Crossing Switch confirmation, so I’m hoping we get more some details soon.
