Late on Sunday night, I started up the game. I saw a note on the bulletin board about the fishing tournament, but it didn’t say who won (like it normally would). It just said that the tournament had concluded. I’m guessing it was because I didn’t start up the game when Chip was still around.

Aurora asked me for some new furniture, and I gave her the best kind of furniture…a pizza! I bought it from a hippie (Harvey) at the campground, which is probably not the safest place to buy a pizza, but Aurora seemed to enjoy it. She rewarded me with a kiddie clock.

As of yesterday, snow now covers the ground in New Leaf (and other Animal Crossing games as well). I celebrated the arrival of winter by rolling up my first snowmam of the season.

I collected three snowflakes for her, and she gave me an ice vanity. I promptly sold it for a cool 8,888 bells.
My villagers have continued to give me Toy Day hints; Bones actually wants a household appliance for the holiday!

Here is my updated list of Toy Day hints, although I still have a long way to go before I collect them all!
- Bones: gray household appliance
- Hornsby: pink umbrella
- Lolly: orange clothing
- Rolf: brown instrument
- Vivian: something gray
Before ending my game for the day, I swapped out my green brick path for my wintry ice brick path. I forgot to take a picture, but it’s the same one I’ve been using for years. 😛
My recent dream visitors have been Molly from Cutie, Aram from Venus, Tava from Cloud 9, and Addie from Salem. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy the snowy season! 🙂
How big do the snowballs have to be to make a perfect snowmam? Also you have a nice town.
Thank you! Once a snowball is big enough to be pushed, just make it a tiny bit bigger, and that should be big enough for the head of a snowmam. The body needs to be bigger, of course, but it’s hard to explain in words exactly how big it needs to be. Try using the picture of my snowmam to get the proportions right. Once you do it enough, you’ll get the hang of it.
Oh no, I haven’t played New Leaf foe a while and I think my snowman melted! (I don’t care about the others)
So far in my town, I only need one more hint for Kid Cat and two more hints for Rudy then I’ll be all ready for Toy Day!
Good luck! I like how the Christmas Eve event goes pretty quickly if you’re well-prepared.
Thanks! Good luck to you too!
