Today is New Year’s Day, and I headed over to the event plaza to meet up with Isabelle. She gave me a zodiac rabbit to celebrate 2023 being the year of the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac.
I took it home to take a close look at it; it’s pretty cute!
Meanwhile, Hornsby wanted to start off 2023 with a nap. Not a bad idea!
My friend Beth started off the new year by making a new town, called Cassia. I took the train over for a visit, my first time playing multiplayer in years!
Her town obviously doesn’t have much to see yet, and most of her villagers aren’t that great–except for Fauna, who was already asleep. But I checked out the town, and also the drive-in campground (where we tried to stay warm by the campfire).
Pavé was visiting, so we checked out his RV…and scared him repeatedly by honking the horn. 😛
I also did the Shrunk Funk Shuffle in Beth’s tent, and she could only watch helplessly. She has a long way to go before she unlocks it herself. 😛
Back in Forest, Luna told me that Wyatt from Sunville was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

Why is your New Leaf Blog the One you update the least?
It’s not; the GameCube blog is only updated monthly. But for New Leaf, there are two main reasons: 1) I can’t record gameplay, so I can’t get content for videos as well. And 2) I’ve pretty much accomplished everything in New Leaf already, so I don’t have many goals left.
