The other night, after I had been on a tree-shaking session, Agent S barged into my house. She said she got lonely for my face.
THIS face?
After depositing some money into the bank last night, my balance reached 96 million bells. My goal of 100 million bells is within reach!
Tonight, Rodeo let me know that he was planning on moving out of Forest on May 13th. I did not try to stop him; it’s time for some fresh blood in town. And that’s no bull.
Despite the rain and the late hour, Main Street was pretty crowded. Kabuki, Dizzy, Peck, and Molly were there, along with me and Digby.
My recent dream visitors have been Alec from Minic, Andi from Kiwii, Vanilla from Celestro, and Gabby from Platoria. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good weekend!
As I started up the game today, Isabelle met me outside of my house. Today is my town anniversary, so Isabelle had something planned for the occasion.
So she said she got all the town residents to gather at the town tree. But…wait a minute. Molly, Vivian, and one of the Nooklings? That’s all who showed up?
She thanked me for my four years of service as mayor, and she reminisced about that first day.
Then she told everyone to bring IT out.
Uh-oh.
Fortunately, she was just talking about party poppers. 😛
She gave me a special ceremonial gift and then the ceremony came to a close.
The gift was a sapling clock, so I took it home and put it in my house. I’ve updated my dream address, so you can see the tree “in person” if you go to dream address 5D00-000F-7611.
The sapling clock, and the town anniversary ceremony itself, are new additions that were included with last November’s Welcome Amiibo update. If you haven’t had your ceremony yet, be sure to play on your town’s anniversary date!
As for other things going on in town lately, Lily gave me three cheers for our friendship. 😛
I was snooping in Vivian’s house, and she warned me not to look in her Gracie chest. So that made me curious, and of course, I just had to look.
Don’t mind my eye. I, uh, walked into a doorknob.
Vivian then realized the satellite isn’t what she thought was in the chest, so she let me have it.
My recent dream visitors have been Jess from Yanwath, Abigail from Meowburg, Shamima from Candy, and Lee Lee from Candy. Thanks for stopping by!
Today was Weeding Day, so I made sure to visit Leif at the event plaza before 7 p.m.
Believe it or not, this was my first time pulling weeds for Leif! For the first Weeding Day (in 2014), my town was clean and I just participated to unlock the topiaries. In 2015 and 2016, I missed Leif entirely! But I caught him this time.
Leif told me to pull the weeds in town and then return to him. After pulling one, I checked back and he told me I had 11 more to go.
This town goes to 11.
So, I went around town and picked all the remaining weeds. Leif then congratulated me on a job well done.
We?
He rewarded me with a “town cleanup prize,” which was a cosmos fan. Leif claimed to have made it himself, by hand, but I think he was just clowning around.
Great, now it’s all mime! I mean, mine!
Here’s a look at the cosmos fan in my house:
Is this electric, or does it run on flower power?
And up at the Emporium, I saw that the gardening center was closed for the day. That’s because Leif can’t be in two places at the same time. 😛
And just before 7:00, I used my Booker character to speak with Leif at the plaza. Leif said that Forest was already clean and weed-free, but he still gave Booker a gift: a lily record player.
So this will play Lily’s records?
Later on, I got a letter in the mail from Leif. He sent me a stool fertilizer sample.
My recent dream visitors have been Ian from Somerset and Chris from Windburg. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good weekend! I hope you all had a successful Weeding Day!
