Medicine for Bob

Bob has been sick with a cold lately, so I took him some medicine both yesterday and today. Get well soon, Bob!

Bob flips as he takes his medicine.Bob: Take that, virus! That medicine just socked you right in the gut!

It was raining in town today, and I usually like the rain. But I’m really hoping to see Phineas to get a badge or two from him, so I could do without the rain right now.

When I met up with Daisy outside of Re-Tail, she told me she was planning on moving out of town on June 19th. But I don’t want to see a dog run away from her home, so I told her to stay in Forest.

Daisy: I was about to make a big decision based on a whim!I found a lost item today, and it was a mitten again! That’s the third lost mitten in a week! (The others were Saturday and last Tuesday). But this time, it was Hamlet’s mitten. He had a different story than the others, though. He said it allowed him to play goalkeeper again (presumably in a soccer game).

Hamlet: With this thing I'll be able to play keeper again! The guys will be glad!

I’m not sure if that line was a coincidence or not, because in Happy Home Designer, Hamlet’s request was a house that made him feel like a professional soccer player! Anyway, he gave me an optical shirt for returning his mitten.

I saw this cool coelacanth stuffed animal on Tumblr, and I thought I’d pass it along since I know some of you collect plushies. This isn’t an official Animal Crossing thing, but it would fit right in if you have an AC collection.

My recent dream visitors have been Mike from Protakon and a Japanese player whose name I can’t type. 😛 Thanks for stopping by! As a reminder, Friday Night Forest is this week!

Being Followed

Today I headed over to the town of Azulmont to deliver an item I ordered for Belle. I hope you enjoy it, Belle!

Belle: Thanks much!Back in Forest, I found another lost mitten on the ground. This time, it belonged to Agent S. She thanked me for returning it by giving me an old board floor. It wood have been a nice gift if I wasn’t already board with it.

Agent S: Yeah, I think you'll totally like this. It's an old board floor!Bob asked me for some perfect fruit, and I had a perfect cherry with his name on it. He gobbled it down and loved it! He thanked me by giving me a rococo table.

Bob: This perfect cherry is even more perfect than I thought it would be. So amazing!Saharah was in town, so I hired her to install some new wallpaper and carpeting. But on the way back to my house, I spotted Agent S on the bench. When she asked me to join her, I couldn’t say no! So I made Saharah stand there and wait while I sat with my squirrel friend.

Sitting with Agent S on the bench.Once I got home, Saharah put in a lovely wall and a playroom rug. Yuck.

A lovely wall and playroom rug.As soon as I changed it back to the way it was, Agent S barged into my house. Is she stalking me? I had just spent time with her out on the bench, and now she’s following me home? I just stood there and waited for her to leave. I hate unplanned visits.

Agent S: Surprise! I came over to play! I bet you're, like, SO glad to see me!I felt just as weird when I went to Club LOL and Amelia said she knew I’d be there! She was probably flying high above town, watching for me with her eagle eyes.

Amelia: Fancy meeting you here. Just kidding. I knew you'd be here.I just tried to ignore her as I enjoyed some live music from K.K. the singing and guitar-playing dog. He played one of my favorite songs, Two Days Ago.

K.K.: Here's a jam that makes the blues seem like old news... Two Days Ago.

My recent dream visitors have been Dillyn from Maylend and Mayounna from Amy Rose. Thanks for stopping by, and have a good weekend!

Museum Model

Yesterday, the museum gift shop finally had the museum model in stock! Celeste sold it to me for 1,800 bells.

Celeste: That is a museum model!Unlike the museum model in the GameCube game (pic here), this one isn’t as wide; it only occupies one space. I decided to put mine in my trophy room exhibit for now.

My museum model on display in my trophy room exhibit.Oddly enough, it can be ordered from the catalog. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate it when items can be ordered again. But there doesn’t always seem to be any logic or reason as to which items can be ordered and which can’t. Some DLC items, like the red ogre mask, can’t be ordered–and yet a reward item like the museum model can. Go figure.

After putting some bells in the bank, my account balance reached 72 million bells.

Your current balance is 72,010,000 bells. You may remember that Octavian surprisingly moved out of Forest last year, and he was adopted by River Cross (Crosby from Town). I made a dream visit to Town today to check up on him. I was glad to see that he still remembered me.

Octavian: Hey, you're Jeff, right?! Long time no see!And hello River Cross, if you still read this blog! Town is a nice town!

Back in Forest, Pashmina told me that she was planning on moving out of town on June 13th. She still owes me a geyser, so she’s not going anywhere.

Pashmina: Wha--?!
You heard me, goat girl. You’re staying put.

Hamlet asked me for a peach, and I gave him a perfect one. He loved it!

Hamlet: Yummahumma! After he gobbled it down, he gave me a rococo dresser. This might look good in Lucille Bluth’s house over in Arrested.

I spent the rest of my night doing some fishing and bug-catching around town. The fireflies are kind of fun to catch, aren’t they? Except when they fly up really high for no reason and you can’t reach them! I hate that! 😛 But sadly, my catches weren’t enough to make Phineas show up with any badges.

My recent dream visitors have been Isabelle and Rover! Well, not exactly: They were Izabelle from Shelley and Steven from Rover. Close enough. 😛 Thanks for visiting, whether you’re an NPC or not! 😉

Happy birthday to Animal Crossing: New Leaf! The game was released in America three years ago today (June 9th). Are you guys still playing it regularly like I am? Even if you’re not, this would be a good excuse to check in on your town. Don’t worry, your villagers will forgive you for your absence! 😉

Have a good day and I’ll see you next time!
