It’s the 2nd Friday of the month, and that means one thing: Friday Night Forest! I opened my gate at 10 p.m.; Beth arrived first, and we were talking about Hippeux’s name. So when Beth asked what my town tune was from, I used some alternate spelling of my own.

After a few minutes, Merka also arrived. We hung out and chatted for a bit, and then I suggested a trip to the island. On my way down to the dock, I spotted Merka on the ledge.
However, she went on BRB to eat lunch. In an attempt to save time, I tried pushing her down to the dock. It wasn’t going well; it was really hard work! I wish I could have just picked her up and carried her! 😛 And the worst part is, about ten minutes later, I realized I was pushing her the wrong way! 😮
Fortunately, she returned shortly after that, and we headed out to the island. We started with a gardening tour, and it ended up being a bit more challenging than we anticipated!
We also went on locust-catching and balloon-popping tours, earning silver on the former and gold on the latter.
We then went out onto the island for some fishing, bug-catching, and diving. I didn’t do any diving myself, but Merka did. And somehow, she glitched, so that she was standing in the water!
To get free, she had to put her wet suit on, and then she dove into the ocean! It was like she jumped off of a dock! But that allowed her to swim back onto shore.
After we returned to the mainland and I sold a couple of my catches, we went glitching. We did the usual: We started at the tracks, ran over to the bridge, glitched off the bridge, and then glitched again into the void. I was the first to make it there, and Merka followed just behind.
After Merka and I watered each other repeatedly, I started exploring under Forest. Merka accidentally unglitched herself, but then she re-glitched into void all before Beth could get there the first time! 😛 Beth eventually did get into the void, but she didn’t last long. She fell into a pitfall that I had planted for my visitors earlier in the night.
She was back on solid ground, and she asked where I was at. I found the nearest landmark and told her I was by the (wind) turbine. So she came over to see me. Well, actually she couldn’t see me, but I could see her.
I was done exploring under the town, so I asked her to dig a hole for me to be born into.
I dug a hole for Merka, so baby Merka was also born on the beach.
She didn’t look very happy when she came out.
Merka had to go, so I went ahead and ended the session for the night. It was fun, though. Thanks for coming, Beth and Merka!
At the Dream Suite, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Mayounna from Amy Rose–thanks for visiting! Have a good weekend everyone, and I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow.

Since the capsule goes into a letter slot instead of my pockets, it’s easy to overlook it…and I did just that. I completely forgot about it until today. No problem, I thought: I’ll just bury it now. One problem though…I couldn’t.
I knew not to read it (they hate that), so I left it alone. I figured I should track down Pashmina and see what she suggested (if anything). She was shocked to hear the news.
Gulliver was down on the beach, talking of visiting a tropical island where people dance the hula while they wear grass skirts. He’s off to Hawaii of course, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
As I headed up to Re-Tail, Elise pinged me. She told me that she and Forest go together like cream soda and french toast. So she’s moving out of town on May 14th! That’s Saturday! Woohoooooo!
She also attached some pink carnations to the letter. Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there! 🙂
Peck’s recent exit opened up a new spot on Main Street for a former villager to start appearing. That villager was none other than Octavian!
It was good to see him again. After eight firm handshakes, he told me he might pop into the museum later on. I bet he wants to slip into the aquarium and go for a swim!
