The other day, Velma told me she thought her greeting needed to be replaced. Because I was feeling lazy and didn’t want to come up with something new, I just told her to keep the same one. She took this to mean that her “flaw” was just imagined–and that she was actually perfect.

I went to the Dream Suite and made a dream visit to Anzu’s town Konoha (dream address 7200-2427-9939). She had this awesome (if slightly creepy?) room with customized exotic furniture. I’m a big fan of the exotic furniture when it’s been customized in black and red. I should use this set in a room some day.
It’s a nice town, so give it a visit if you’re interested.
Today, of course, is Festivale. Confetti has been raining from the sky all day long.
Pavé the flamboyant, gyrating peacock was shaking his tail feathers over at the event plaza.
He asked me why I wasn’t dancing like he was. Maybe I just don’t have bird mites in my pants.
He asked me to find a white feather for him (although he actually wants three of them, he leaves that detail out the first time). But I had no intention of going on his feather-hunting quests. It’s too much work for too little reward, at least considering I’ve already completed the Pavé set in the past. I ended up catching a couple of feathers, but they weren’t white ones anyway.
Even if you don’t collect the feathers, it is amusing to see villagers dressed up for the occasion. Velma was certainly in a dancing mood.
And even grumpy old Rolf was enjoying the night.
I also caught a glimpse of the northern lights up in the sky. Even Mother Nature was cooperating with the colorful display.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jackson from Harmony was my most recent dream visitor. Daisy from Grapeton also visited recently. Thank you both!
I hope you all enjoyed your Festivale (if you participated). See you all next time!

Since I wasn’t able to take a look at the newly-suggested illuminated arch PWP on Tuesday, I made sure to take a picture of it this time.
When I returned to Forest, I caught Aurora taking a nap on the bench. I didn’t want to disturb her though, so I just let her enjoy her time in dreamland.
Today, Saharah was in town. She installed a modern screen and a music-room floor in my house for 3,000 bells. It seems like Saharah is always giving me music-room stuff!
By the way, I took down my 2016 numbers shortly after taking this picture.
Pashmina told me she wanted to move out of town on February 9th. Oh no, not until you suggest me a geyser PWP!
Actually, there are a total of six PWP suggestions I still need from “uchi” villagers, so I may keep her for quite a while anyway. Especially since I don’t like most of the other uchis.
As for my dream town, Luna told me that Lydia from Podunk was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Kyoko from Parump.
Today is Groundhog Day in America, and Isabelle was standing at the event plaza for the occasion. She was handing out Resetti models.
I spoke to the tiger to see what he wanted. He told me it was time to dig up the time capsule I buried for him
So I went to the northwest corner of town and dug it up. When I returned it to Rolf, he opened it up to find a noble shirt inside. He gave it to me as my reward. (Oh joy).
Velma pinged me today, and at long last, she finally suggested a new public works project (PWP)! She told Isabelle to add an illuminated arch to the list of projects! I don’t have immediate plans to install it, but I might consider it in the future. It’s definitely a good thing to have added to my list. PWPs are why I let these stubborn goats stick around after all, so it’s about time they suggested something!
I can’t even remember the last time I got a new PWP suggestion.
