Getting Ready for Winter

Late on Saturday night, I spotted some snow flurries in town. Winter is coming!20151206_HNI_0004Yesterday, Rolf told me he wanted to move out of town on December 11th. (Not a chance, bud). And Curlos the sheep was camping at the campsite, insisting that he’s not anyone suspicious.

20151206_HNI_0012The mere fact that you’re telling me you’re not suspicious makes you suspicious!

After making a delivery to Daisy today, she gave me her picture as a reward. She even called it a “good find.” As if she found her own picture at the flea market and thought “Wow, that dog is gorgeous!

20151207_HNI_0021I decided to start getting ready for winter by changing the look of my main room. I got my ice furniture out of storage and set it up. Now I won’t have to hear any complaints about Halloween being way over.

20151207_HNI_002220151207_HNI_0023And even though snow isn’t covering the ground yet–at least for a few more days–I’ve decided to go on and place down my frosty brick ice path. If you visit, be careful not to slip!

December Begins

December began with my monthly letter from the post office bank, announcing that I’ve earned 99,999 bells in interest. That helped my balance top the 56 million bell mark.

20151202_HNI_0056The arrival of December also meant that glow wands are now available at the Nooklings’ shop. They do look cool, even if they are basically useless. Jingle furniture can also be purchased now.

Velma asked me for some fruit the other night, and I gave her a perfect peach. She loved it so much that she gave me her stool. Goat stool is not exactly something I want to carry around in my pockets.

20151203_HNI_0076And today, Peck wanted to play soccer with me. Not actual soccer of course, but he wanted me to read his expressions to tell if he wanted me to pass the ball, shoot it, or so on. I guessed that he was telling me to shoot, so I shot the ball and scored a goal.

20151204_HNI_008120151204_HNI_0082My recent dream visitors have been Zave from Xeon (Wednesday), Link from Dead (yesterday), and Daniel from Westword (today). Thank you all for visiting. I realize my dream address isn’t in the side bar of this new blog, but if you’d like to visit, go to the Dream Suite and go to address 4300-2003-9889.

Thanks for stopping by. I’ll be back with more next week. Have a good weekend, everyone!

I’m Not a Jewel Thief

The other day, Aurora asked me for some perfect fruit; she had a really interesting way of describing it.

Aurora: It's supposed to be so sweet and juicy that your tongue does flips of joy!I recently StreetPassed Daneel from Trantor, and he had this cool Haunted Mansion room in his house.

A Haunted Mansion themed house I StreetPassed. The elephants of Forest seem to keep forgetting that they’re not allowed to leave. Yesterday, Dizzy told me he was going to move out on December 1st, and today, Big Top told me he was leaving on December 4th. Once again, I told them both no.

Big Top: I've decided to move to a new town on the 4th of next month!I had a gem rock today, but as I was banging it, Agent S came over and interrupted me! So I only got four gems out of it! Agent S, you just cost me nearly 32,000 bells! Maybe she thought I was a jewel thief?

Agent S: Shhh...I'm a spy! Hello, hello, up a tree!Vesta the sheep was at the campsite, so I went in to say hello. It’s getting cold outside, so why don’t you put on some clothes? Maybe a vest or something.

Vesta: Hello. Are you from here? I fell in love with this town.Over at the event plaza, a silver slingshot (on two balloons) flew past the bare town tree. Despite what it may look like, it did not get caught in the tree. That only happens to balloon presents in the GameCube game (and also on N64 if you happen to live in Japan).

A silver slingshot flying by on a balloon.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Arin from Hyrule was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Cab from Renwerd. Thanks for visiting!
