On Friday, Big Top visited my house and commented on my audio equipment. Wait, does he think all these severed heads masks are speakers or something?

Back outside, Pashmina told me that Velma looks like a horse mackerel! Wow!

She insisted on a side-by-side comparison to see if the fish were actually invading our town!

So I caught a horse mackerel for her, but once I did, she didn’t say anything else about it looking like Velma. She just thanked me for the fish and gave me a microscope. That seemed to be the end of it. Until I talked to Velma. She asked if I was fishing for goat! It’s like she knew!

I did not participate in the Halloween festivities yesterday–at least not in New Leaf. (I did play some ACCF for Halloween though).

This morning, I started up the game and I actually bought some turnips from Joan. It’s been a while, but I’m back in the turnip business…at least for this week.

Now that it’s November, mushrooms will grow near trees around town.

And some of them will actually be mush furniture in disguise.

Big Top is finally over his cold, and he thanked me for the medicine I’ve been taking him late. He gave me a covered wagon; I’ll be sure to use it the next time I visit the 1800s.

There was a meteor shower tonight, so I looked up to the sky to wish on a few shooting stars. Look, a double meteor!

There was a tent set up at the campsite, so I went inside to see who was camping. Baa baa, it was the black sheep Muffy. Have you any wool?

Saharah was in town, so I hired her to install some new wallpaper and carpeting in my house. She went with this mosaic wall and imperial tile.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Nick from Vanville was my most recent dream visitor. I wonder if everyone drives vans in Vanville.

I finished up my evening on the beach, where I saw another shooting star…and the nearly full moon.

The other night, Pecan was camping over at the campsite. But my town has not had a vacancy for a while now. I haven’t been letting anyone leave, although for some of them, it’s only because I want some PWP suggestions from them first.

Dizzy asked me to bury a time capsule for him today, and I agreed to help him out. This was the first time in a very long time that I’ve been asked to bury a time capsule. It’s because they’ll only ask you if you have a free slot in your letter storage. And I usually keep mine full, so that I can keep items attached to them. But since I’ve been writing letters for badge purposes lately, he caught me while I had a slot open.

Agent S told me that she was planning on moving out of town on November 1st. Sorry, but your squirrel butt is staying right here for winter and beyond. So stock up on nuts while you can.

Big Top was still sick today, so I bought some more medicine for him. It gave him wings!

I found Gulliver down on the beach, and he was talking about temples and goddesses. He’s headed off to Greece, and he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
