Yesterday, Saharah was in town. I paid her 3,000 bells and she then installed this plaster wall and opulent rug in my house. Blechh!

Stagehand Hat DLC

Today, Pete met me outside of my house with a letter from Nintendo. Now through November 7th, you can download a stagehand hat at Nintendo Zone locations.

So I headed to the post office to pick up mine.

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect, so I tried it on.

Yikes. The stagehand hat looks like something a woman might wear to a funeral. I have no plans on ever wearing it again. I checked my catalog at the Emporium, and I found that it can be ordered for 600 bells.

Peck told me that Big Top is sick with a cold. He said it was probably because Big Top forgot to wash his hands and gargle.

I went up to Main Street to buy some medicine for Big Top, and I also did my usual shopping run. I’ve been checking Able Sisters and Kicks for clothing items I still need for my catalog. The only new one today was a cavalier hat. I was actually surprised I didn’t already have it in my catalog, since that was an outfit I wore frequently in ACCF.

Back in town, I found Daisy sitting on the metal bench by the fountain. She was enjoying the pleasant autumn evening.

She asked me to join her, so I did. What’s up, dog?

Before I wrapped up my night, I spotted Phineas again! He gave me the Catalog Maniac Gold badge for collecting 80% of the items in the catalog! Awesome! Now I don’t need to keep checking my catalog for every item I run across in the shops. Sweet!

My recent dream visitors were Indigo from Fyrefall (yesterday) and AdamL from Queens (today).

Aurora told me she wanted to move out of town on October 28th…but I quickly told her no. Rolf and Big Top were standing nearby, so I hope they heard too. None of them are allowed to leave.

While going through old dream town suggestions, I visited Clara’s town Metroid. She asked me to visit her town in a comment from a year and a half ago. I finally got there today, and her character’s phrase was “OMG Thanks Jeff!” I guess she must have known I’d get there eventually. Better late than never, right?

Once I woke up from the dream, Luna told me that Katrina from Avandea was my most recent dream visitor.

I found Gulliver down on the beach, telling me a tall tale of how he fought off 50 pirates. Sure, buddy. He’s now on his way to India.

I also bumped into Dizzy on the beach. He asked me for some new furniture, so I gave him a pizza! Well technically, it’s a customized hot plate, but still it’s a pizza! He gave me a green wall in return. That’s not a fair trade. I want my pizza back!

Last night, I caught another scallop while diving in the ocean. Pascal popped up and gave me a helm in exchange for it. He also was talking about tacos–on Taco Tuesday, no less.

Today, Gracie came into the Roost for some coffee. Since I already got my first three customers’ orders perfect, I didn’t need to get hers right in order to get superb coffee beans. So I didn’t bother looking at my list and just gave her whatever. She was not happy, and she was talking down to me. Witch…I hope that coffee burns your throat. All the way down.

I was happily surprised to see Phineas in town! All the grinding is starting to pay off! He gave me the Letter Writer badge. I don’t agree with what it says about me loving to write letters, though. I hate it! Especially in New Leaf with this annoying on-screen keyboard.
