Bathketball

I saw light beaming out of Resetti’s manhole tonight. I guess the angry mole was trying to get some fresh air.

Resetti's open manhole.I climbed down to say hello, but Resetti didn’t have much to say. He just kept urging me to leave, even though I just got there! How rude.

Resetti: You ain't gonna find nothin', so quit snoopin' around!Saharah was in town, so I hired her to install new wallpaper and carpeting. On the way back to my house, I ran into my newest neighbor Peck. He told me that Saharah was “apparently” in town…even though she was clearly standing right next to him! This guy must be a bird brain.

Peck: Apparently, Saharah is in town! She comes from far away to bring carpets and wallpapers!Once I reached my house, Saharah put in a blue-trim wall and a bath tile. Great, now I can play bathketball. Maybe I should replace the basketball hoop with a toilet and try not to miss any shots.

A blue-trim wall and bath tile in my basketball-themed room.Up at the Dream Suite, I updated my dream town. Luna told me that James from Crescent was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for visiting!

Just a reminder that Happy Home Designer comes out on Friday (in America, at least). Barring any unforeseen problems, I’ll have my first AC:HHD entries up then! They will be at http://www.jvgs.net/achhd/, so please bookmark the link if you don’t want to miss out!

Kung Fu Bird

Yesterday, I found another new house plot! This one will belong to Peck, and it slightly messed up my path (and took out a few gold roses too).

This spot reserved for Peck's new home.Today, I went into the new house to meet Peck. He came from the town of Inaba, which is apparently the town of someone I’ve StreetPassed.

Peck: Howdy! I'm Peck! I came from Inaba! He told me that he’s famous for his kung-fu skills. I’ve heard of a kung fu panda, but not a kung fu bird.

Peck: Just a heads-up: I'm sort of famous for my kung fu skills! It was raining in town today, and my villagers weren’t very happy about it.

Aurora: Do you think it'll rain all day today? I sure hope not, ice cube.Pashmina even said the rain might mess up her super-awesome hair! 😀

Pashmina: Ugh. My super-awesome hair... The rain is gonna mess it up!Two of my recent dream visitors were Cherrypi from Hell (yesterday) and Jenny from Goldmoon (today). Thanks for visiting!

Another Goat Moves In

The Bug-Off competition was held yesterday, but I did not participate. I didn’t start up the game until after it was already over. Rolf told me that he would be the one claiming victory on the podium.

Rolf: Of course, I'll be the one standing in the center of the podium for the winners! In the eastern part of town, I saw a new house plot. Pashmina is moving in!

This spot reserved for Pashmina's new home. -Nook's HomesOnce I got around to the event plaza, I went into Nat’s tent to check out the winners’ ceremony. Wow, Rolf wasn’t kidding when he told me he’d be in the center of the podium! Congrats, tiger!

Rolf is announced as the winner of the Bug-Off competition. This morning, I tracked down Joan and bought 4,100 turnips from her. She was selling them for 101 bells apiece.

Joan: The asking price is 101 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo? And later on, I went to visit my newest neighbor, Pashima the goat.

Pashmina: Pleased to meet ya! I'm Pashmina!Since Velma moved in last month, that makes two goats in a row! Pashmina is an uchi personality, while Velma is a snooty. Those are the two personalities I need PWP suggestions from, so I hope they start recommending some new projects around town!
