I got a letter from Wishy the shooting star today, and it contained a covered wagon. I’m pretty sure that’s not what I wished for, but thanks anyway, Wishy.
Yesterday, I forgot to include a picture of my jack-o’-lantern design as my town flag, so here it is.
Daisy told me she recently saw a picture of a beautiful centipede. Wait, what? Anyway, she told me she was now obsessed with centipedes (worst hobby ever) and she wanted me to catch one for her.
I agreed to help her out, but I soon came to regret it. I was banging rocks all across town, over and over again. But no centipedes were showing up! It must have taken a dozen trips around town before I finally found one for her. And when I took it back to her, she only gave me an aurora knit shirt! All that work for a shirt?
Velma approached me and told me she wanted to move out of town on October 6th. Uh, not before you suggest some PWPs for me!
I decided to decorate my main room for Halloween. I quickly discovered how awkward it is moving furniture around in New Leaf, compared to Happy Home Designer. But the basketball stuff is now gone. In its place, I put up a bunch of spooky masks. I can’t help it, I like saving lots of headgear.
Since it’s October now, I decided to change my path back to the black/orange bricks that I used last year. Tonight, the skies were clear and there was a meteor shower! I stopped to wish on a few shooting stars.
I ran into Jack himself! He’s out to recruit helpers for Halloween.
He gave me a bug mask to get me started, so I went ahead and put it on.
The monster hats will also be available at Able Sisters for 1,031 bells apiece. Today, they had the ghost mask.
Since the game gives Jack a full week to find helpers (even though he will only show up once), October 1st through 7th are considered event days. So you can not work at the cafe until October 8th.
I tried to make a new pattern for Halloween, a jack-o’-lantern face.

Peck asked me for some fruit, so I gave him a perfect cherry. He loved it, and he rewarded me with a gold stereo.
Agent S told me that she could make Forest more famous by moving away, and she was planning to leave on October 2nd. I don’t care about making the town famous; you’re staying right here, Agent S.
Dizzy approached me and gave me a free gift: a lacy white tank. Uhh what? To make matters worse, he said it reminded him of me. What the heck??
Tonight was the night of the harvest moon, known as the autumn moon in Animal Crossing. Isabelle was at the event plaza, handing out wheat bundles.
Isabelle was talking about visiting the moon someday!
I stopped for a moment to take a look up at the moon. Maybe someday we’ll be there playing Lunar Crossing.
There was also a face-cutout standee for the event. Look, I’m a scarecrow.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Troy from Forest was my most recent dream visitor.
I wasn’t sure if it was like a fire flower or maybe even a neon sign, so I took it home to check it out. Unfortunately, it’s not as cool as I hoped. You can also see my wheat bundle in this picture.
