It was raining in town today. Normally, that would be a good thing since it would mean I wouldn’t have to water my flowers. But since I’m on the beautiful town ordinance now, I don’t have to water them anyway. But at least I get to see my villagers holding umbrellas, I guess.
Big Top noticed an exotic lamp in my pockets and asked to buy it for a nut. I told him he could just pay me in bells instead.
Back behind the town tree, I found a lost item. I wonder who this could belong to?
My search led me right back to Big Top! He thanked me for returning it, and he gave me a bamboo shoot. Of course I already had two bamboo shoots in my pockets, but thanks anyway, big guy.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lilee from Chi Town was my most recent dream visitor.
The Able Sisters had a police cap today, and I bought it for somebody.
Back in town, Velma had a flea on her, so I caught it. I guess she can catch ghosts and criminals, but not tiny insects.
She told me to keep it a secret, but let’s be real here. Aurora already saw you freak out. She knows, and soon, the world will know.
After wrapping things up, I started up my game with Booker. He put on the police hat and he’s ready to go get some donuts. Or just, stand by a gate for eternity, I suppose.
I do need to buy him some pants, though…
I also received a letter from a now-healthy Molly. She thanked me for the medicine when she was sick, and she sent me a rugby tee.
Saharah was in town tonight, with her usual offer to install new carpet and wallpaper for 3,000 bells. I took her up on the offer, and she put in a blue-trim wall and sci-fi floor. Not a very logical combination.
As soon as I changed my wallpaper and carpet back, Molly barged in for an unexpected visit. What a plucky duck.
I just stood there for a minute, until she decided to leave. She thanked me for being such a lovely host, which was almost surely sarcastic.
It’s a very pretty town, so wander on over if you’re looking for a new dream town to visit.
When I woke up from my dream, I had a nightmare! I saw Dotty on Main Street! Now that Kabuki is gone, that freed up a spot for my former villager Dotty to appear on Main Street. (Just kidding about it being a nightmare, Dotty).
She gave me two baskets of perfect cherries. My villagers will be sure to enjoy them. Thanks, Kaylee! I hope you enjoy the items.
Unfortunately, I got some bad news today. Kabuki was all packed up in boxes, ready to move out–without warning! (Cats do like boxes). I wanted to keep Kabuki around longer, although it could have been worse, I suppose.
Outside, Rolf asked me for an orange. I gave him a perfect one I had attached to a letter. He loved it, and he “rewarded” me with a lovely doll.
