I visited Daisy, and she told me she was just about to write a poem about a roller skate! So I didn’t stick around; I didn’t want to interrupt her while she was on a roll.
Dizzy asked if he could visit my house today. Since I was right outside my house when he asked, I went ahead and reluctantly invited him in. He saw my gorgeous furniture, and now he thinks I’m rich! He said he always wanted a rich friend to buy him bavarian cream! You’ll be lucky if I buy you some peanuts, pal!
Velma asked me to return an item she borrowed from Aurora. Forest’s first penguin looked shocked when she realized she forgot about the item. And those eyes…
And then she told me what the item was–a watermelon chair. Who forgets about a watermelon chair? And for that matter, who borrows a watermelon chair?
Anyway, she gave me a rose-sky tee to thank me for returning it.
When I updated my dream town, Luna told me that Chelsey from Artsia was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!
Today, Reese was paying 187 bells for turnips…nice! I sold everything I had.
That earned me enough money to make my bank account balance reach 50 million bells! I’m halfway to my goal!
I got my valiant statue in the mail from Redd, and it was indeed the real thing. I donated it to the museum. I only need two more items to complete the museum: one painting and one statue.
Saharah was in town today, and she put in an illusion floor and a chain-link fence.
Meli came over to sell some turnips, and she also gave me some perfect cherries. They will make nice gifts to my villagers. Thanks, Meli!
After I ended the session, I noticed that I had mail again! I guess having a visitor must force the mail, like it did in ACCF. I received this letter from the post office, congratulating me on saving 50 million bells.
The letter included a gift–a mailman’s hat!
The bad thing about changing back to a beautiful town ordinance is that the stores now close at their normal times, which is too early for me. I didn’t get to shop yesterday, but I was able to check the stores today. In the tailor’s shop, I wondered if it was goat day. Both Nan and Velma were shopping there! Doh!
I sold my turnips for a small profit once again. And on Sunday, I bought a new supply of them from Joan. She charged an even 100 bells apiece for them this time.
Velma was out enjoying the sun, with no fear of UV rays.
Over the past few days, what started as a crack in the plastic of my 3DS (near the top-right corner, in front of the R button) got much worse. The cracked piece fell off, and later other pieces of plastic fell off as well. That included the notification LED that would flash when I got a StreetPass hit. With those gone, the hinge got loose as well. And then, this.
I was not in a good mood today, but clearly I was not the only one.
She rewarded me by giving me a pep-squad tee. Not a very good gift, but then again, neither is rat-infested bread.
Up at the Dream Suite tonight, Luna told me that Oceanas from Citadel was my most recent dream visitor.
