A Sunday Snooze

Joan was in town this morning, selling turnips for 104 bells each. I bought 3,100 of them.

Joan: The asking price is 104 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Daisy told me she had a dream about Jake from State Farm (it may have been spelled StatFarm), but I accidentally skipped past it before I was able to take a picture. Oops.

Later on this evening, Kabuki told me he was going to move out of town on June 30th. Naturally, I told him to stick around. I may let him move out eventually, but not today.

Kabuki: It's about time I moved on! I'll be leaving on the 30th of this very month!I went out to the island, but the selection of tours wasn’t very good. I went on the elite balloon-hunt tour twice: I got silver (7 medals) the first time and gold (12 medals) the second time.

Tortimer: Wow! You must really hate balloons! Please accept the Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals! When I returned, I found Daisy taking a Sunday snooze on the town’s metal bench.

Daisy: Snoooooooooooze...How cute!

Daisy: Oh no! I must have dozed off.I sat next to her for a few minutes before wrapping up my game for the night.

Soggy Seeking

It was raining in town again tonight, and Kabuki said it makes him feel alive. So what, sunshine makes you feel dead?

Kabuki: Rain makes you feel ALIVE! But it makes things a little slippery, so watch your step, yarnball.Dizzy asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek in the rain. Sure, why not? I had 15 minutes to find him, Tom, and Aurora.

Dizzy: We're all going to hide somewhere in the neighborhood. It took me a couple of minutes to find Dizzy, hiding behind Daisy’s house.

Dizzy: The other two are really good at hiding. I don't know if you'll be able to find them!I later found Tom hiding behind the police station. That’s a risky place for a cat burglar.

Tom: ...Heh! I guess you found me!I found a tent set up at the campsite, and Eloise the yellow elephant was inside. She has her mouth on the side of her face, just like Dizzy.

Eloise: You're from Forest, right? My initial search of town didn’t turn up the third hider, Aurora. So I figured she must be on the beach. On my way down there, I found a lost book in the sand.

Finding a lost item on the beach near the ramp.Further down the beach, I found Aurora trying to hide behind a banana tree.

Aurora hiding behind a banana tree.Finding all of the hiders meant that I had won the game. Back at the town tree, Dizzy rewarded me with a steel flooring. All three of them were there, with their umbrellas all popping up at the same time. Having all three of them in one place made it easier to start asking about the lost item. In fact, Aurora said it was hers!

Aurora: Where did you find it?! I've been looking for this book everywhere! What a relief! This is my treasure! She rewarded me by giving me a security tee.

At the post office, I put some money into my account. It wasn’t a very big deposit, but it was enough to reach the 46 million bell mark.

Your current balance is 46,000,000 bells.

Missing Out on Lucky

Aninnymouse asked to see the paintball floor that I bought last time. I had already sold the carpet, but I was able to see it in the catalog.

Paintball floor - 1,600 bells. It looks like someone just Splatoon’d all over it.

Tom was enjoying a nice walk near the zen bell tonight.

Tom: I really like the scenery around here...it's why I like to walk past here a bunch.A tent was set up at the campsite, and Lucky the mummified dog was inside! It’s too bad my town is full, because I definitely would have invited him to move in!

Lucky: I'm here camping in town, so you'll be seeing me around for a bit!Daisy asked me for an orange, so I gave her a perfect one. She loved it, and she rewarded me with an outdoor bath. That’s a switch: A dog giving a human a bath.

Daisy: Take my outdoor bath as a token of my appreciation! You've made me so happy, master!I went out to the island to go on some pros-only bug tours. I went on a few of them, earning 12 medals for each one.

Tortimer: That's enough to net you a Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals! When I returned to the mainland, I found Resetti’s manhole wide open and light was beaming out of it.

Resetti's open manhole--the entrance to the Reset Surveillance Center.I went down inside, and I found Resetti. But he didn’t have anything interesting to say this time; he just kept telling me to leave.

Resetti: Don't hang around forever. Go on and get outta here!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Emily from Emily was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Makayla from Marirose.

Have a good weekend, everyone!
