My eyes were playing tricks on me today. For a second, I thought I saw a very large fish shadow coming out of the river! But it was just Kabuki’s umbrella.
Rolf was not a fan of the never-ending rain. As much as I enjoy the break from watering flowers, I’m getting a bit sick of it myself. It also keeps Phineas away.
Today was the birthday of my favorite squirrel, Agent S! I made sure to visit her and give her a birthday present–a customized classic desk. She seemed to really like it! Although the “HA HA HA” sounded a bit sarcastic…
Dizzy was also there, helping her celebrate. I’m sure the free cake had nothing to do with it…
I didn’t stay at the party long, because there’s really not much to do anyway. But Agent S thanked me for making it a special day…and then she also thanked herself.
For the past two weeks or so, the post office has been giving a 004-3003 error code when I tried to check for a new DLC item. That error message has now been replaced with a new message saying this access point isn’t giving out any presents at the moment. Does this mean the end of regular DLC items? I think the Nintendo Zone downloads will continue, but I’m seriously wondering if that’s all we’re going to get from now on.
Nintendo released DLC items for ACCF for four years, so it would be quite disappointing if New Leaf stopped getting new items after just two years. But we’ll see…maybe Nintendo has something up their sleeves.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Edric from Skywood was my most recent dream visitor. Yesterday’s visitor was Aaron from iCarly.
I took a boat ride out to the island, where I went on a pros-only bug hunt (12 medals) and a shark-battle tour (15 medals).
I finished up my night with a little fishing, bug-catching, and diving.
She’s only lived in Forest for two and a half months, which might make her the quickest villager to give me a picture (excluding April Fool’s Day pictures, of course). I took the picture home and put it in my emerald modern room.
Daisy’s favorite quote is “It’s not always a dog-eat-dog world.”
My island had the tuna-kahuna tour today, and I went on it once and earned gold (20 medals). Merka came over to participate too, but we only earned silver the two times we tried it. It seems harder with multiple people for some reason. Still, 14 medals plus 5 bonus medals isn’t bad.
After that, we returned to shore and I ended the session. Sometimes the days that I have good tours happen to be the days I’m not in the mood for playing lots of them. Oh well. I’m going to get that gold medalist badge one of these days…
Today, it was raining yet again. Molly asked me to trade my emerald for her No. 67 shirt. No way! But it was cute how Molly was sharing her umbrella with Aurora…oh wait…oh no, Molly’s umbrella is slicing through Aurora’s head! That’s not nice at all!
Meanwhile, all the rain was making Daisy’s feet all soaked and wrinkly. Aww, poor doggie. Daisy is so cute.
Saharah was in town, and I paid her 3,000 bells for some new wallpaper and carpet. She put in a western vista and an ancient tile. I like both of these a lot, but I already had an ancient tile in storage.
Up at the Dream Suite, I took a Dream Suite Adventure to the town of
Another area is based on Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.
It’s really a beautiful town.
But there was one thing I didn’t like: All of the animals kept calling me their queen!
Each themed area of town had at least one face-cutout standee to poke your head through. The Halloween area had a ghost one, as well as this witch.
There were many points of interest in JOY, including this pumpkin patch. The ghost standee can be seen in the background.
If you’d like to visit JOY, and I highly recommend it, the dream address is 5600-2591-4388. And again, to read my full write-up about the town, see
I put the shirt on and headed back up to the dream suite. I updated my town, and Luna told me that Clayton from Lebanon was my most recent dream visitor.
