New Superhero

When I played on November 4th, I received Cherry’s goodbye letter in the mail. She also attached another copy of her photo to the letter.

Inkwell asked me to bury a time capsule for him, so I agreed to help out.

Inkwell: I made a time capsule!

Moments later, I happened to be right by the modern clock when it illuminated at the top of the hour. So of course, I just had to snap a photo. This is still one of my favorite PWPs. 🙂

The modern clock lights up.

This past Monday, I updated the dream version of my town. My dream address is 5D00-000F-7611, if you’d like to visit while you still can.

Boots invited me to sit on the bench with him, so I did. I don’t recommend trying this in real life, especially with a real alligator. 😉

Sitting on a bench with Boots the alligator in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

Hornsby asked me to dig up his time capsule, and it had a silk bloom tee inside. But he didn’t give me the shirt; he gave me his photo instead.

Hornsby: Woohoo! It's so good to see my time capsule again!

A bit later, Inkwell was enamored with a cardboard box I had been carrying in my pockets! 😆

Inkwell: You're the proud owner of the finest cardboard box I've ever seen!
I’m surprised it wasn’t the cat (Lolly) saying this.

He offered me 25 bells for it, and I agreed to the sale.

At the campsite nearby, I found Mira the superhero rabbit!

Mira: Hey! You're from this town, aren't you? You must be Jeff! Nice to meet ya! I'm Mira!

I like Mira, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted her to move in or not. So I thought about it, and I searched this blog to see if/when I had her as a camper before. It turns out, she camped here in 2014, and I wanted to add her then, but I couldn’t (because my town was full at the time). So that convinced me to invite her in now. 🙂

When I put some bells into my savings account, my balance reached 127 million bells.

Your current balance is 127,000,000 bells.

Yesterday, I found Mira’s house plot just south of my house. This is approximately where Cherry lived (and Big Top before her).

Today, Cube asked me to visit his house. So I led the way there…

Cube follows me as I run to his house.
I made him run there. 😆

I hung out in his house for a while, and he offered to sell me his snowmobile…so I bought it for 2,150 bells. He also gave me a kiddie chair that I found while snooping through his mush dresser.

I got a kiddie chair!

And once Mira finally woke up, I went in her house to say hello. Welcome to Forest, Mira! 🙂 It’s good to have you here! Better late than never!

Mira: Hey, hey! Remember me?

According to Luna, my recent dream visitors have included Daniel from Danville, Paula from Bilbao, and Sober from Heights. Thanks for stopping by!

Note: I’ve recently added a few design submissions from Roxel, so check those out on the QR Codes page.

Cherry Out

When I checked my mail today, I found a letter from Wishy. He sent me a Mama polar bear for wishing on a shooting star last time. I also got a gift from Aurora; she sent me a cardboard box. 😛

Speaking of cardboard boxes, I saw a bunch of them when I entered Cherry’s house. She’s moving out today, and I made sure to say goodbye to her. Best of luck to you, Cherry! Maybe we’ll meet again in another game!

Cherry: Anyway, you have a good life in Forest, OK? Like me!

Hornsby asked me to bury a time capsule for him, so I put it in the northwest corner of town (where I always keep my time capsules).

Hornsby: Do you know what a time capsule is, boss? It's kind of like a message for your future self.

There was a tent over at the campsite, so I went inside to check it out. Charlise the green bear was inside, so I said hello and then promptly left. 😛

Charlise: I'm Charlise! And you're... Jeff? Nice to meet you!

Jeremiah asked me for some new furniture, but the cardboard box from Aurora was too small for him. 😆 So I went over to Re-Tail and bought a rococo dresser (which coincidentally, was also from Aurora). Jeremiah loved it.

Jeremiah: Oh! A rococo dresser!

In return, he gave me a kiddie wardrobe.

According to Luna, Malcolm from Disney was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for stopping by!

Awkward Pose

This past Saturday, I started up the game for the first time in October. Jack sent me a skeleton hood in the mail, and it’s a good thing…because it helped cover up my bedhead. 😆 (Shampoodle was already closed for the night.)

Wearing a skeleton hood outside my house.

On Sunday, Cherry told me that she was planning on moving out of town on October 24th. I decided to let her go. She’s lived in town for a year and four months, and I earned her photo back in July.

Cherry: I'm leaving on the 24th of this month. You gonna be OK with that?

When I checked the bulletin board, I saw that Cherry won the most recent fishing tournament. So she’ll be moving out on a high note.

~Fishing Tourney Results~ Winner: Cherry. Second: Inkwell. Third: Boots. Great work, everyone!

I found a lost item, and I returned it to Rolf. In return, he gave me his photo. Of course, I already have one in storage, and a couple extras in the museum, but it’s the thought that counts. 😛

Rolf: It might not be much, but here. Take my Rolf's pic with you! On Toy Day!

Yesterday, I played another game of Desert Island Escape…and I won. I’m still on the intermediate levels, in case you’re wondering. 😛 But it’s fun, and I want to continue playing until I clear them all. I know there are still rewards I need, too.

You escaped!

There was a meteor shower tonight, and I wished on several shooting stars. But I accidentally wiped away a path tile as I was trying to take a photo. That’s why I ended up with this awkward pose. 😆😆😆

Me, about to wipe away a path pattern with my foot.

So I moved into the grass and got a better photo. 😉

Wishing on a shooting star in Animal Crossing: New Leaf (ACNL).

I’ll be back with another entry next week, as I say goodbye to Cherry.
