It was raining in town tonight, giving me a break from watering flowers. Aurora wasn’t thrilled with the rain, but she handled it well.
Daisy was still sick today, so I gave her some medicine once again. It made her sparkle and flip. Good dog.
I went to Club LOL to catch some live music. K.K. Slider performed K.K. Rock for me (and Tabby…ick).
Over at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Molly from Oaklane was my most recent dream visitor.
I took Kapp’n’s boat out to the island and I went on a pros-only bug hunt tour. I went a long stretch without finding any bugs at all, and I ended up with a silver Tortimer award. That earned me seven medals. Oh well, every bit helps.
The giveaway for the egg furniture set (with a tweeter as a bonus) ended today. There were only a total of 21 entries, and the random number generator selected a winner: inowshipyou
Congrats, inowshipyou! I’ve contacted you on Tumblr, and you have until Tuesday night to arrange a meeting time so that I can drop off the prizes. If the prizes are not claimed by then, I will draw a replacement winner at that time. But hopefully I will hear from you soon. Congrats, and thank you all for entering!
I went to work at the Roost today, but Brewster told me he didn’t need any help. It wasn’t 11:00 yet, so I was a bit confused.
It all became clear when I went into the Emporium. The gardening section was closed off, with a note from Leif saying there was an event today. Oh, it must be Weeding Day! I forgot that was today! I was actually thinking it was tomorrow.
But Leif was not at the event plaza, so I was still a bit confused. After a bit of research, it seems that Leif will only be there until 7:00 p.m., and I played too late in the day to see him. That’s pretty disappointing. I know the GameCube version of Animal Crossing often had holidays where you had to find Tortimer by a certain time or forfeit your prize, but New Leaf is (generally) better about silly time limits on special events. Weeding Day is an exception to the rule, however.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that today’s most recent dream visitor was Ana from a town called “a r s r,” oddly enough. Yesterday’s dream visitor was Nogo from Questess.
It was sad to see the empty spot where his house was.
But on the bright side, I can finally repair my paths. When Drago first moved in, his house landed on my path and I had to re-route around his house. But now I’m able to put it back the way it was.
She gave me a cool globe to commemorate the event.
There was also a face-cutout standee where two people can hug the Earth. But I just hugged the world with a headless girl.
If you haven’t seen the cool globe before, this is what it looks like:
When I made my way up to the shopping district, I saw that Skye has started appearing on Main Street. It’s good to see her again!
In the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Lizzie from Lovely was my most recent dream visitor. And while I was running through the Happy Homes Showcase, I thought I saw Teddy for a split-second. But it turns out, it wasn’t Teddy at all. Oops.
