An Unwanted Plot

I had a chat with Agent S today, near Daisy’s house. Agent S asked if I was spying on Daisy! She said it was good to know there was another secret agent in town! But then she backtracked and tried to claim that she’s not really a spy. Yeah, right.

Agent S: Hee hee! I'm just kidding. I'm no spy--at least, not professionally. But I do like to keep tabs on folks!Over at the campsite, Nana the pink monkey was camping in a tent. I’ve had her in my ACCF town before, but I had no interest in asking her to move in.

Nana: I enjoy company, so please come visit me anytime!Just south of the event plaza, I was shocked when I saw a new house plot! My shock turned to horror when I realized that Cally the squirrel was moving in!

This spot reserved for Cally's new home. -Nook's HomesShe must have come from a StreetPass tag I got yesterday. Quite disappointing. The only good thing was the house placement. It’s near my zen garden and right along my path.

Cally's house plot near my zen garden.Over by my western bridge, Daisy told me she’s already planning on moving out on May 3rd! She’s only lived here a couple of weeks and she already wants out? I hope Cally gives me that option after two weeks too. But Daisy is staying.

Daisy: That's it! I'm taking charge of my life! I'm moving someplace new on the 3rd of next month!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jetix from Jirachi was my most recent dream visitor. It’s not often you see two J names together, unless you’re Judy Jetson…or JVGS Jeff.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Jetix from Jirachi enjoyed your dream.I finished my night with a pros-only bug tour on the island. I easily caught the 10 bugs I needed to earn a gold Tortimer award and 12 medals.

Tortimer: That's enough to net you a Gold Tortimer award and 12 medals!Cally will be moving in tomorrow, so I’ll be back with another entry then. Have a good day, everyone!

Newsprint Helmet (Nintendo Zone DLC)

Pete met me outside to hand me a letter from Nintendo today.

Pete: I have an express delivery for you from Nintendo. Now through May 9th, a newsprint helmet is available at Nintendo Zone locations. It was previously only available in the Japanese version of the game (Jump Out).

From 4/26 to 5/9, the newsprint helmet is available via Nintendo Zone!I paid a visit to Daisy, and I was surprised to find Kabuki was visiting her. Cats and dogs getting along?! What is this??

Kabuki: Hey! You here to see Daisy too, yarnball?Daisy reminded me that I gave her medicine while she was sick (you think I don’t remember?) and she gave me a polka-dot chair to thank me.

Daisy: Remember? You helped me fight off a nasty cold.It was raining in town tonight, which was fine by me. I found a lost item in the grass.

Finding a lost item on the ground.Merka needed to collect some signatures for a Power-Somersaulting Class petition, so I opened my gate for her. She looked taller than I remembered…

Giant MerkaI asked Dizzy about the lost item, and amazingly, it was his! Got it on the first try!

Dizzy: Whoa! I was looking forever for this! This is the bag I use to store desserts! He rewarded me with a stadiometer.

I later picked up my newsprint helmet from Phyllis. I’m not exactly sure why it’s called a helmet instead of a hat. It’s made of paper! It’s not going to protect your head from anything!

Wearing the newsprint helmet.Unfortunately, it cannot be ordered from the catalog.

When I checked at the Dream Suite today, Luna told me that Cameron from America was my most recent dream visitor. I’ll see you all next time!

Taurus Bathtub DLC

Joan was selling turnips for an even 100 bells each today. I bought 3,100 of them. If you wonder why I usually buy 3,100 of them, I’ll tell you. I have three pages of my storage clear and reserved specifically for turnips. Those 30 spots account for 3,000 of the turnips. As for the other 100 (which just take up one inventory slot), I keep them in my pockets as a reminder to check turnip prices each day.

Joan: The asking price is 100 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo? This afternoon, the winner of the egg furniture giveaway (Stace) contacted me and told me her gate was open. I dropped off the egg set and tweeter at her town St. Pete. Congrats once again, Stace! I hope you enjoy the set!

Making a delivery to Stace in St. Pete.Dizzy told me he was going to move out of town on April 30th, but I twisted his trunk to make him stay.

Dizzy: Don't freak out, but I'm planning on moving away on the 30th of this month.I realized I hadn’t checked for the latest DLC item, so I went up to the post office to see if there was anything new. I’m probably a few days late, but the Taurus bathtub is now available. Some regions received this last year, but it’s new for America.

Pelly: Sorry to keep you waiting! I hope you enjoy your new Taurus bathtub! It can be re-ordered from the catalog for 4,800 bells. And that’s no bull.

Taurus bathtub - 4,800 bells.Daisy was still sick today, so once again I bought some medicine for her. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to go for a walk soon! When you’re feeling better, just give me a collar holler!

Daisy takes her medicine.I finished up my evening with a trip out to the island, where I went on a shark-battle tour. Catching eight sharks in six minutes earned me 15 medals. Phineas, you can start showing up any day now please.

Tortimer: WHOA! You're a master angler! You've earned a Gold Tortimer award and 15 medals!
