Blue Ogre Mask DLC

Big Top told me he was going to move out of town on February 22nd. But I twisted his trunk arm to get him to stay.

Big Top: It's settled. I'll stay put here in Forest. I guess we'll still be neighbors after all!As of yesterday, the blue ogre mask is now available as DLC in America at Nintendo Zone locations. I picked mine up today.

Pelly: Sorry to keep you waiting! I hope you enjoy your new blue ogre mask! This is what it looks like:

Wearing the blue ogre mask.To work towards the gold catalog badge, I bought some clothing items that I needed from GracieGrace and Able Sisters today. That included this gelato tee I tried on. Mabel said I look marvelous!

Mabel: Oh my, you look marvelous!
Do I really?

I found a famous mushroom near my tree stump, and I placed it over by the town tree. Now all the dreamers will have a little snack to eat. I then updated my dream town, and Luna told me that Megan from New York was my most recent dream visitor.

I finished my day down on the beach, where I found Gulliver. He was talking about art and fashion, so he’s clearly headed to France. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow. Gulliver: Plus the fashion is very appealing. My outfit was even once included in a fashion show when last I visited!

Festivale 2015

When I started up the game today, Pete greeted me with a letter from Nintendo. It said that the blue ogre mask is now available at Nintendo Zone locations for the rest of this month. Of course, this begs the question: If they can send the letter via SpotPass, why not just include the item itself?

Pete: You have a letter from Nintendo!Of course, today is Festivale and villagers will be dressed up for the occasion.

Big Top: It's Festivale, and it's time to get rowdy! Lil top!Confetti rains down from the sky today, along with occasional feathers. Since I have a snowmam in town, I was also finding some snowflakes in the air.

Wow! A snowflake! I should be gentle with it so it doesn't melt! When I headed over to the event plaza, I found the gyrating peacock that is Pave.

Pave: How can you stand next to the glory that is Pave and not be gyrating?!Viva Festivale! Pave demanded some red feathers, so I began my search.

Pave: VIVA... FESTIVALE!But before I found any red feathers, I found an even-more-rare rainbow feather!

Yippeeeee! I got a rainbow feather! These are extremely rare!A rainbow feather can be exchanged instantly for a piece of Pave furniture. Pave loved it!

Pave: GLORIOUS!I continued looking for red feathers, but I made sure to talk to Molly when I saw her.

Molly: Today's the celebration of dance and music called Festivale! Don't be shy! Just dance and have fun!Octavian was also enjoying the party atmosphere.

Octavian: Hey, cool guy! Today's the annual celebration of Festivale! Let's jump into the spirit and get in the groove! After a while, I caught the three red feathers that I needed.

I got a red feather! It's got the passion of fire!Pave thanked me for the red feathers and gave me a Pave table as my reward.

Pave: You did good for Pave. Pave thanks you and gives you this Pave table!I didn’t try to complete the entire set, since I did that last year. But I continued playing for a while to earn several more pieces of the set as Pave wanted white, purple, and blue feathers.

If you’d like more information about Festivale, or if you’d like to see the full Pave’ furniture set, head over to my Festivale Guide. I hope you all had a fun and rewarding Festivale!

Dizzy: It's Festivale, and it's time to get rowdy! Woo-oo!When I updated my dream town today, Luna told me that Merl from TorgoBay was my most recent dream visitor.

I’ll see you all next time!

Petition for Finding Rolf’s Keys

I haven’t bought turnips the past two Sundays, but I made sure to buy some today. Joan was selling them for 94 bells each, and I purchased 3,100 of them. I just hope I remember to check turnip prices this week. It’s easy to forget once you’re out of the habit.

Joan: The asking price is 94 bells per turnip. What do you think, kiddo?Rolf told me he was collecting signatures for “Finding My Keys.” That sounded like a good cause, so I agreed to help him out.

Rolf: I'm collecting signatures for Finding My Keys, but I don't have enough people yet.Tom41 opened up his gate a bit later, so I headed over to Tomville. His friends Tricia and Chaceyj were also there. I began to look for animals, and Pippy was my first victim volunteer.

Pippy: Hey? This is a petition, isn't it? Hmmm, Finding My Keys. I bet you want my signature. As I made my way around town, I saw Tricia standing still. And for a split second, I thought she was an animal, so I started to walk towards her to ask her to sign my petition. Oops!

Mistaking Tricia for an animal.I kept running into animals whose names began with the letter “P.” Peanut provided the last signature I needed.

Peanut: There. I'm happy to put my name down for this. And hey, your list is totally full now!Four of the six signatures were from “P” names.

Petition signatures: Pippy, Patty, Dora, Marcie, Peggy, Peanut.Tom was having a bad luck day, so he was wearing the Tingle hood. He’s also been playing Majora’s Mask 3D on his New 3DS lately. So I joked that he could sell himself a map.

Jeff: You can sell yourself a map. When Tom’s battery turned red, he turned into Resetti and told us all to “Scram!” as he ended the session. Back in Forest, I gave Rolf the completed petition. He rewarded me with an aroma pot.

Rolf: Here. Have this for the help! It's an aroma pot!I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town, and Luna told me that Gabriel from Berryway was my most recent dream visitor.

And back in town, I acquired a previous DLC item in an unusual fashion: Drago offered me a Libra scale in exchange for a fossil I had in my pockets.

Drago: Let's make a deal! Wanna trade your plesio skull for my Libra scale?Tomorrow is Festivale, so I’ll be back with another blog entry then. If you’re new to Festivale or want a refresher on how it works, be sure to check out my Festivale Guide!
